They saved the day during a hot lake visit. I had the foresight to buy 2 and my family members would move them around our RV camp to lay them sideways on the ground for shade when the sun was going down. They did blow over with the strong microbursts, but I didn't have a weighted holder for them-- so I can't complain about that. I got it in blues because I didn't want to attract bees/wasps. Though I actually love the rainbow color too. But the blues were very cheerful as well. At the lake the winds were too strong to put it in the sand. I just sat on my chair in the shade and held it. They work great for keeping cool. Even while setting up the tent my husband (who had complained about my purchasing "more junk") changed his unhappy tune and had me hold it over him while he hammered in the stakes! Sometimes I'd put it in the door of my tent to keep me from the hot son when I sat in there to rest. I couldn't find these cheaper anywhere else, and I was happy about the price (it seems I paid a little under $35 each-- don't quote me-- I'm not great with numbers!) I love that these have a carrying bag too. And they were bigger than I realized. I used to own a 6 foot umbrella and there was a big difference with those 2 extra feet-- of course!

This is the best beach umbrella on the market today (especially for the price) . I have bought 3 of these in the past only because I'm scared that the 1st one will finally give out and I'll be stuck on the beach without an umbrella. First one 7 years and still going strong. 3rd one I just bought will stay in the box unopened and stored just in case Sam"s discontinues.

Love love love it !!! Lots of shade with 8 foot size umbrella. Perfect height for shade and beach! The Aluminum pole will not rust in my pool Baja shelf!! I looked everywhere for the perfect umbrella and finally found it ! I can use it in my pool and at the beach!!!! Best price too!! Thanks Sams Club!

These umbrellas were perfect. We bought 3 to cover our 6 chairs and it was exactly enough coverage. We liked that they tilt and have the carrying bags. Worked great all week long, used everyday.

I buy 10 of these every spring for my neighborhood pool. For many years. The price is good and they hold up to a lot of crazy abusive people. The colors fade very badly from the summer sun, which is why I need to buy replacements each year. Still, far far better than other choices I have considered.

We use these colorful 8’ umbrellas on our deck year round. They are bright, well made are a lot of bang for the buck. We replace them every 3 years.

Great Beach Umbrellas we bought another

This is a great umbrella as this is my second one I have purchased in five years. They hold up very well, my only reason for giving it 4 starts is that they changed the pole. The old style was much easier to put into the ground. It had a cross bar the fit through a hole to help you twist it in to the ground where as the newer version you have to just push it in. Both are great products just wish they didnt change the bar.

For the price $49, it appears to be well made but I just put it up yesterday - that's why I only gave it a 4 stare. Time will tell but it looks great. The teal picks up the teal in my big SAM's 10' umbrella (new purchase) and my SAM's zero gravity chair (old purchase). Also matches the steel chair cushions - my wife is well pleased. Sorry for the pic - my base needs work.
