Admittedly, I bought this because it's less expensive than the more popular brand I've been buying for years. It tastes great but the cuts are very inconsistent. About 5-7 pieces out of each package are 1/2 the thickness of the advertised thick cut which means you have to set them aside for other uses, especially if you oven bake your bacon like I do.

Way to fatty (and hidden with lean cut on end) and not very smokey.

This item is too salty and the taste is sourly
