Its good!! Good meat to fat ratio and very close to the competitor that it is knocking off. Not quiet the Wright, but dang close and a great deal!! If you have not tried either, seriously consider it, you will not go back to that you stuff!!

I love this thick bacon. I especially like that the two packages are held together with a thick tape vs. the other brands that but a strong glue. As I age, the strong glue is almost impossible for be to break apart. I also like the perforated edge to get into the package.

To me, this bacon compares with other higher end brands I like. It leaves enough grease to easily baste your eggs if desired. That may not be recommended by your Dr but sure is a nice treat from long ago.

I've using this for a few years. Like the thick cut and it comes in 4 pks so you can freeze 3 and use one. Just the right size for my cookie sheet. I put down SAMS parchment paper, preheat oven to 405 and set timer to 18 to be safe . I precook about 12 or 13 at a time, place on paper plate with paper towel on it and layer them put in a gallon size ziplock and refrigerate. Ready for when you need it.The natural fat in them is good for you, better than the processed vegetable oil or soybean oil , ready for when you need them.

It's a very thick cut of bacon, and the ends were very fatty and hard to separate the individual slices. The flavor is very good, and cooks very well in the oven. I would look for a leaner looking package in the future. Also a very competitive price for thick sliced bacon. I would buy again.

Bacon comes in a 2 pack and Bacon is thick as promised, look for more meat than fat when buying. BEWARE - after you separate the 2 packs each individual package zip-closure rarely separates easily rendering it is practically useless. However, it shouldn’t deter you from buying the bacon if you want good thick bacon. Just know that you may have to put the opened package in a ziplock or bacon keeper. I buy this product for the bacon, not the ziplock feature - though if they fixed it I would give it 5 stars. The bacon company shouldn’t advertise it as having a resealable zip closure.

Good flavor, but a tad too salty for me. My brother, however, loves the flavor. So I guess it's how each responds to it. I love the thickness.

I consider this bacon a poor product. I cook a lot of bacon for church ministries and this is not a quality bacon. The Wright brand and Hormel Black Label brand are much better quality bacon.

Have been buying Wright bacon for years. Saw this at a slight cheaper price and thought I’d give it a try. While lean, it does not fry up well. Pig skin on edges is chewy, has a weird smell, albeit seemingly fresh. We didn’t eat, returned to store. Back to Wright bacon!

The members mark brand was cheaper than Wright bacon. I bought two 4 lb pkges (each had two 2 lb pkges). My first meal portion (1/3 of 2 lb pkge) had hard pieces on the ends of several slices. It looked like fat, but was hard. The next meal portion had the same problem. I returned both (in separate returns: 4 & 2 lbs) for a full refund. But before I got the second pkge refund (the 2 lbs), the customer service rep expressed that company policy required her to get all of the 4 lbs in order to get a refund. I ask her if Sams had a 100% guarantee on their products. She reluctantly gave me the refund reinterating company policy.
