this if my second set of the XT tires, I am very happy with the traction I get off road and in the deep snow of the Midwest winters. I get a fairly quiet ride on drive payment and great traction on dry and wet roads alike. Tire has just enough flex to hold traction like the tires are glued to the road in dry weather but stiff enough to have long wear life. If these tires do not outlast the truck I will be buying another set. I put several hundred miles on my truck in a year, the last set I had lasted me for over 3 years and the front tires when I changed them still had a great deal of tread left on them to the point that I kept them for spare and replacement purposes. Deep tread gives excellent traction in snow and great water channeling in heavy rain to prevent hydroplaning.

Only had the tires for 2 days. They were recommended highly by Burt Brothers in Riverton Utah for my type of vehicle and driving needs. They are more responsive and drive easier than the 18" Toyo All Country tires I had on. I went back to stock 17" rims. So far, I love them. We'll see how they do in snow and overall life and performance.

With the new Firestone Destinations I put on my jeep wrangler the death wobble I was experiencing totally stopped. I was shocked after a year of trying to fix it, it was the tires. I switched from BF goodwrich to Firestone and am super happy. Thanks Fire stone. Justin

Having grown up in the tire business, I've been around Firestone along time. This new cross-terrain tire really intrigued me by it's tread design and mileage warranty. I bought LT275/70R18s and they have been a great ride with great performance off-road and on-road. The tires are not noisy as you might think from their design. The tires have a great ride and have great traction off road, in the snow, and great wet traction with great braking. The only problem I have with them is I didn't get the mileage out of them. I'm replacing them just shy of 30K. I rotated about every 5K and have maintained my pressures with towing and not towing. I would buy this tire again!

I purchased these after doing a lot of research. My previous tire brand was terrible, I had to get 2 sets as the first set dry rotted prematurely after a few months. I opted for the Destination X/T because they were highly top rated on every reputable source, I have loved these tires since having them installed. I very recently drove from Texas to Maine with my 2006 Chevy Silverado WT. Extended cab, long bed, 5300 lbs, and a new set of Firestone Destination X/T tires. I was a little concerned before leaving. The tread is pretty aggressive and I wasn't sure how well it would do at interstate highway speeds and hurricane torrential rain coming through the southeast. The tires were great at highway speed and a number of slower passage muddy, heavy run off water detours. They also navigated some heavy road construction with rough lanes and uneven surfaces. They did have a slight hum at speed, but the ride quality was surprisingly good. They looked like new after the first 2,200+ miles.

Terrible ride and noisy. Took back to have auto select Analyze them, they told us it was our U joints and drive shaft . Had 3 different shops and diesel mechanics look at truck. Replaced U joints, had drive shaft balanced, still same ride and noise in truck. Had truck analyzed again and all comes back to the tires after everything else has been fixed. Will not go back to auto select and will not buy another Firestone tire. Had issues in the past with Firestone tires, but was told they were so much better, shame on us for believing them.

I Switched to the Firestone Destination XT tires and have been well pleased. They have a quite comfortable ride for a tire with this much traction in wet muddy conditions . I am looking forward to a good snow so I can see how they preform in winter conditions. I feel I have made an excellent choice by selecting Firestone tires.

After I drove 15k on these tires, they were completely worn out, I didn't even expect that this could happen, yes, sometimes they helped on off-road, yes, they could dig out, but 15k and completely naked, THIS IS SOME KIND OF HORROR, I don't recommend it

Bought a set of these tires, didnt even look at the price until it was time to pay. I felt they were really expensive. My bill with evrything including road hazard and some air sensor kits was drive out 2394 and some change..thats almost 600 a tire, 65,000 miles later these tires still have decent tread on them.. i'm only replacing them because Im going on a road trip and I hate having tire issues.. i am buying another set and not even thinking twice about the price.. wish they were a little cheaper.. I would recommend these tires to anyone with a truck or suv.. the excellent on wet roads and pretty decent on what little offroading I do.. truck is mostly on the highway..
