Black Olives

I have been buying these for a couple of years but they have never been extra large. And recently the quality has been pretty bad. The solution in the cans is merky and the olives are not firm, they are super soft and unappealing. Think I will go back to buying them at the grocery store unless Sam's offeres a different brand alternative.

Early California brand's "extra large" black olives are definitely NOT extra-large in size. If anything, they are actually smaller than other brands labeled simply as "Large." Taste is fine & they're pitted (hence at least 2 stars), but if you're looking for giant-sized black olives, look elsewhere because you won't find any in these cans.

Do not purchase these with expiration date Jan 25, 2027 T2PN 13:07. EVERY SINGLE can had brown, wrinkled, slimy olives. I’ve bought this brand many times before & never had an issue. Must be a bad batch. Also, as others have said-not extra large size. Small to medium. What a waste of money!! Will be trying to get a refund.

Don't believe everything you read, because if you do, you'll be greatly disappointed. Much like whoever thought that these black olives were in any way "extra large" obviously has quite the imagination. Extra small may have been more appropriate. I bought these in hopes of stuffing them, so much for that idea and I was fool enough to have bought 2 eight packs. I guess the pice was too good to be true and it was.

My husband loves these. Eats them by the canful.

The “naturals” are way better!

For sure, hands down, the worst olives ever. Definitely not extra large, medium at best but the taste was just foul. Almost seemed like the cans were spoiled
