[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is very firm even though it is considered a medium. I would strongly encourage you to try this before you buy it. I was coming from a previous mattress that was a plush, pillow top. Switching to a medium mattress like this was too much for me. I did not get any sleep while trying to use this product. If I did fall asleep, it was for short periods at a time. When I on opened this mattress, I noticed a strong chemical-like smell coming from the mattress. You might want to air this mattress out before using it. I do not recommend this mattress for anybody who is looking for a soft mattress to sleep on.

This mattress is truly an extra firm when it comes to the springs. Even laying on top as a big person you won't feel any lack of spring support. The isolation between sides is great as one person can be turning and the other would hardly be able to tell. The top layer is the opposite story. It is very soft, but not in a comfortable way. You sink into it in such a way that it gives all sorts of strange pressure causing pain. I think its either the gel foam lumber support or duracool they advertise as a feature causing it, but the experience is neither cooling or supportive. If they got rid of the top layers it would be the perfect base mattress that you could add whatever topper you wanted to, but unfortunately the top layer ruins it.

This mattress is very well made and has good structure. It fits well on my existing Queen bed frame and doesn't need a boxspring. It feels very supportive when I sleep and it doesn't have any dips, it holds its shape well and I like that it's built to last.

I went for the extra firm because I have chronic back issues, and I've notice lately that my posture wasn't great. At first when I laid down on the mattress I was kinda taken back due to the fact that it was so taut, not much movement... I put my mattress cover over the mattress, followed by a fitted sheet. Then, I added my 2 inch memory foam mattress topper. That made a world of difference. I'm m I stay a stomach sleeper and I have to say I felt quite comfortable. When I lay on my back I can feel the curvature in my spine straightening out, and when waking in the morning I'm not as stiff or hunched as I was with my 8 year old previous mattress. I think it was a perfect choice, and looking forward to many more restful sleeps. If I were to change one thing I would have wanted strictly a firm mattress , but do believe that within a few months the mattress will soften up and I will continue to enjoy it

Very comfortable, soft, pleasant to sleep, my back and bones do not hurt when I started sleeping on it. All the same, sleep is an important part of our life and we want to sleep comfortably, so the mattress completely satisfied me, starting with convenience and ending with the appearance, the quality is also on top. I am very pleased with this mattress.

It has the perfect amount of plush to it that it still has great support. The product is of top quality. It is made so well. I really thought that after a week or so the comfort level would decrease but I have been so pleasantly surprised. I have gotten the restful sleep than I have got in years. What a difference a great mattress makes. I will now be buying one of these Serta Beautyreast silver open seas plush mattresses for my daughter. She loves mine so much that I can't keep her out of my bed.

Bought a mattress 9/2022 and with 3 months its aging very badly. So uncomfortable and has caused major back and shoulder pain. I had to buy another mattress. It's too bad their quality has deteriorated. My last beautyrest lasted over 10 years. Won't waste my money on beautyrest again

The pillow top makes the mattress very comfortable and the size is perfect for us. We’ve gone from not being able to sleep through the night to getting a full nights sleep.
