It has been about 30 years since my last mattress so I kind of went with the groove. This mattress is attractive and soft on the top-not a pillow top though. I will never regret getting the exta firm as this does my old bones so so good. I actually cant wait to get into bed at night. The delivery people were good and on time so the whole delivery was great, I would definitly recommend.

I’m like Goldilocks when it comes to mattresses and I’m forever trying new ones because I was waking up so sore and with back pain. I’m a side sleeper and always thought that sinking into a plush mattress was what I needed. However, my husband likes firmer mattresses so we went with this medium and it’s amazing. I love that it’s firm enough that it offers support but soft enough to cradle your body. I haven’t had this great of sleep since before I had kids. It’s amazing what a good mattress can do for your body too. I no longer have hip and back pain and I’m not waking up sore every morning. I’m writing this review while laying in bed and I’d stay here all day if I could!

Not only is it just a stunning mattress without the sheets on, it provides me with the stability that I require with my back. I find that I get all of the support that my back requires. I have always loved a firm mattress but could never find one. This Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm it's just what the doctor ordered! I've finally gotten a good night's rest. Most other firm mattresses say firm but then have this squishy pillow top that you fall into. All be it said, this mattress has a very small amount of pillow to it. Just enough to give you cushion, without making an indent so it feels like you're now laying in a mold ready for the kiln. I won't have to worry about the sides breaking down on this bed that's always been a very troublesome spot for me. Both my husband and I being of a larger girth, we break down mattresses pretty steadily. But this mattress is going to last us a long time. If you like a firm mattress you will not regret this purchase. Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm goes way beyond anything you could ever buy or ever think of buying. Bravo! I was due for a new mattress for a longer time than I would like to admit, so this is definitely an upgrade! Overall, I am happy with it. It is more on the firm side though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an extra firm mattress. 10" thick from Beautyrest. A good night sleep is what a person needs after working hard. This mattress is sure to provide that. We are very happy with this mattress. My husband has backpain and this firm mattress is very comfortable for him and he says his backpain has considerbly reduced. I am sleeping well as you dont feel the other persons toss n turns on this. I am buying a king size mattress for my guest bedroom. No need to put a box under. Its very firm but if your bed requires one please use the box otherwise its not required. A very big thank you from hubby to Simmons Beautyrest.

It’s a extra firm mattress, but the sides sure don’t seem like it’s more than weak, it sleeps nice if your in the middle, but if you set on the edge to put socks on or put your leg up on the bed to trim your toe nails setting on the edge it’s not got much support

I am now able to get a more restful sleep because I fall asleep almost instantly when I lay down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mattress.

I went for the extra firm because I have chronic back issues, and I've notice lately that my posture wasn't great. At first when I laid down on the mattress I was kinda taken back due to the fact that it was so taut, not much movement... I put my mattress cover over the mattress, followed by a fitted sheet. Then, I added my 2 inch memory foam mattress topper. That made a world of difference. I'm m I stay a stomach sleeper and I have to say I felt quite comfortable. When I lay on my back I can feel the curvature in my spine straightening out, and when waking in the morning I'm not as stiff or hunched as I was with my 8 year old previous mattress. I think it was a perfect choice, and looking forward to many more restful sleeps. If I were to change one thing I would have wanted strictly a firm mattress , but do believe that within a few months the mattress will soften up and I will continue to enjoy it

Bought a mattress 9/2022 and with 3 months its aging very badly. So uncomfortable and has caused major back and shoulder pain. I had to buy another mattress. It's too bad their quality has deteriorated. My last beautyrest lasted over 10 years. Won't waste my money on beautyrest again
