[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get to try this. I have always used the regular Gillette 3 or 4 blade razors and was happy with how they worked. So when I saw that the 5 blades are supposed to feel and work better, I was a bit skeptical because what is an extra blade really going to do ya know? apparently a lot because the difference in how smooth and gentle this razor works is amazing. This razor even has a metal handle which makes it a bit heavy and expensive feeling. I'm actually going to say this is the best razor I've used so far and that the 5 blades really do work better.

This razor is amazing I was able to use the cartridge 5 times before throwing out and getting another 1. Most razors I'm able to use once or twice and have to throw away love this razor can't wait to get some more cartridges for it

It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and honestly goes on very smooth. The razor itself is long lasting and has really gotten the job done.

I have had to shave less frequently because of the precision, closeness, and overall impressed with these razors! The blades are surrounded by this additional padding that helps reach close contact without causing harm, it pivots with is great with the different contours of the shaving areas. Overall recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handle is heavier obviously than normal but durable. I have to make sure there is no soap left on it because it does slip out easily if I am not paying attention just because of the weight. Shaves well. I see this lasting a long time.

The platinum series is one of the best razors I have used. The razor leaves your skin smooth. I had zero nicks. I highly recommend.

The 5 blades and moisturizing strip on the razor head make the shaves so smooth and easy against your skin, which comes out feeling extra soft! The platinum handle is weighted nicely so that you know it is good quality and doesn’t slip from your hand. I definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these Venus Extra Smooth refills for well over 10 years. I can say with certainty, no razor on the market works as well as these (I've tried almost all of them!). The razor glides smoothly across my skin with the help of added moisture ribbons that surround the blades. Even though the moisture ribbons do help aid in shaving, I don't recommend using the razor without some type of shave gel or cream. Venus suggests that one refill can last a month. As someone who shaves VERY often, I can completely agree with this, and usually only have to change mine out every 3-4 weeks. When using a fresh refill, the blades will be much sharper. You'll want to be a little more careful at first, but they will quickly dull to a more useable sharpness quickly. I cannot recommend these refills enough! I don't know what I would do if Venus ever took them off the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite brand! Venus is great for a quick shave and it helps with keeping your legs smooth. The only thing is I wished the shaving lotion attached to the razor was thicker so it protected your legs more.
