[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Venus extra smooth platinum razor has a great weight and grip to the handle. It feels like high quality without the price. Plus the cushion on the handle allows you to have a better grip to reduce the change of dropping it or even accidentally cutting yourself. The blade comes on a separate little plastic container but upon opening it had a strong smell that resembled burnt plastic. I’m also pregnant so my senses are on high alert. The blade cartage attaches to the handle easily and has a nice curve to it. Upon use I discovered that the more shaving cream you have the better because it allows the blade to glide with ease leaving behind nothing but smooth, soft skin. I would say that if you didn’t have enough shaving cream it would catch and you could feel the blade. I also had a hard time trying to get around curves. I feel that the curve of the blade was a little restricted and didn’t fully adapt to curves of us goddesses. Overall it wasn’t a bad razor and still got the job done, although it took longer in some spots.

These refill blades are simple to change and fit most Venus razor handles. These razor refill blades have a pivoting head so it's easier to maneuver around your knees and ankles so you don't miss any areas. Each refill blade lasts up to a month if you shave twice a week and I usually shave once a week so they last me a long time. I am very happy with these Venus extra smooth refill blades an they work very well. I remember when I was younger and had to shave with a single blade razor and I have to say that five blades is so much better! I would definitely recommend these Venus extra smooth refill blades and they are very well made and effective.

The razor head bends to all your beautiful curves! I use my favorite shaving lotion, Skintimate. It pairs excellent. I rarely get nicks or cuts from this brand of razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venus extra smooth refillable razor blades are sturdy, easy to attach to the handle, and contour to your skin as they slide over it. There are five blades surrounded by moisturizer strips that moisturize during shaving, but peel off after the razor is left in the shower. The head does flex around the body surfaces and the orientation is geared toward the legs and not the armpits. The head does not flex well over the knee, on the Achilles region and in the bikini zone. It leaves patches of hair that are not removed even with multiple passes of the razor. I would not purchase in the future.

The blades are sharp and slide smoothly over your skin. I didn't have any issues cutting me or dulling out fast. Each blade I have been able to use for a bit before it starts to dull and change. The refills are ease to change out and to dispose of.
