This set is part of the "build together" feature on the brick builder app. If you haven't tried that feature you should! This feature is by far my favorite way to get my family involved and bond together. This set was fairly quick to build with two of us working on it together. It's a very nice display piece and super durable. I'm not stressed when my 4yr old grabs it to play with it. Highly recommend for any Mario fan.

Great and fun build, being able to build small mechanism for the plant was really interesting. My nephew was super excited to see how the button worked to release the bottom panel. It wasn't simply just the plant, with axles, sockets, etc. this created an interesting piece to incite young minds and make for a more playable figure.

Purchased for a 12yo boy, who regularly asks for Lego throughout the year, found the build rather delicate to assemble, but was impressed overall with the manipulation capability of the plant (due to the style of bricks used internally). It looks great on the shelf and an awesome addition for any Super Mario lover!
