I never knew sleep felt so good until my Tempur experience. Got a Split King with a ProAdapt Medium Hybrid and the ProAdapt Soft. Talking about the best of both worlds. Now all I want to do is sleep! I alternate sleeping on each and discovered that I like the hybrid better, but I wouldn't trade either for the world. Tremendous relief from my chronic back pain. Did I tell you about the Ergo Smart Base? A must-have for your Tempurpedic mattress. I got one with the SleepTracker. Amazing! No more bumping into things with the smart lighting. Unlimited adjustable positions, plus the presets. I haven't even started to use the massage. The daily sleep tracker reports is the icing on the cake. Didn't realize my sleep quality was that great. Bottom line, I will not sleep on anything else.

I'll be honest, the first week on this bed had me nervous that I didn't make the right purchase. It felt much more firm than the models in the store. I was finding my self tossing and turning and waking up stiff. However, after doing some reading online, I discovered that the mattress needed time break-in and for the Tempur cells to breath. For the first couple of weeks when I was changing the bedding, I let the bed sit "naked" for a few hours, and would even unzip the Tempur cover. I found this made a big difference in the feel and softness of the mattress. Within a few weeks, I was sleeping great. I have had the bed just about two months now and absolutely LOVE it! It's not too firm and not too soft - just right. And supportive too. I have been sleeping great and no longer have the back pain I was experiencing on my old mattress. Would highly recommend!

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. Then by the 5th night, I realized I hadn't woken up with back pain in 5 nights. We're a month in and I'm very happy! Takes time to adapt but it's fantastic- also when I sleep on my side, my hips don't burn! It's not too hot either which I worried it'd be.

This mattress seems a bit hard at 1st however did get softer in the next few months. We are both heavy people and we have jumped on the bed a few times, never has an issue. I ordered this online, took less than 2 weeks for delivery. Delivery was so easy and professional. Worth the $$ especially if you add uo all the years of different mattress purchases in your lifetime. We enjoying it!

Our TEMPUR-ProAdapt mattress has been a game-changer in terms of sleep quality. The mattress has seemed to get more and more comfortable after each night of sleep, and I'm sleeping better than I have in months. I had been having hip soreness from my previous bed and those aches have been entirely relieved by this bed. I'm not one to sleep in, but this mattress is so comfortable that I have found myself sleeping longer than I had in my previous mattress. The only slight negative is that it does feel slightly warmer than my previous one, but it's so comfortable that I've already adjusted to that aspect. I absolutely would recommend this mattress to those looking for a premium upgrade.

We purchased the pro adapt hybrid mattress for my husbands painful back but the bed not only helped his back it made a huge difference for my neck. I've had neck surgery and just lived with stiffness and pain. After sleeping on this bed for a week or so , I noticed that my neck and shoulders were relaxed with much less pain! We will never change to a different type bed now!

I am a younger, fit guy with no back or health problems. Had an older model Tempurpedic for over a decade. Quality was great, but it was always too soft for my liking. I went to the Tempurpedic flagship store and asked for the firmest mattress on offer. I was directed to the ProAdapt Firm, and ProAdapt Luxe Firm. The former is definitely more firm than the latter. I was told that the ProAdapt Firm that I purchased would need a period of being broken in before it would feel like the floor model that I sampled. The first couple of weeks after delivery, I was certain that I had made a mistake, as the mattress was just too firm, even for someone that likes a firm bed. However, after about 4-6 weeks of sleeping on it, it has broken in considerably and become the perfect mattress. 10/10. If you like a firm mattress, this is the one. Do not even consider returning if it feels too firm at first. Give it a month or so!

I suffer from serious back issues. I've had one back surgery and a second on the horizon and before I bought this mattress I could barely lie down much less sleep at night. This mattress has the right amount of firmness and give on pressure points. Best money I've ever spent!!!
