[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hurt my lower back in November and was seeing a chiropractor for months and it wasn't getting better. After having this bed for less than a month, the support it provides made the pain go away almost completely. I love it. I am only giving four stars because I was expecting more because of the hype. I was hoping it would fix my problem of constantly being tired, but it does not. My boyfriend hated it at first, but he said he is finally having dreams again, meaning his REM sleep is back. Overall, I like this bed a lot. But is IS very expensive. I would however like to try the other mattresses

I am not going to be critical nor do I want to change anyone's decision to purchase this product. But I as 1 person's review would like to tell you my experience. I have slept on a Memory Foam 4 inch top with 6 inches of medium foam as base for 13 years. The complaint I have with that old mattress is after 13 years it had "memorized" my pressure points that it became unbearable when moving from that "memory position" to another, causing back pain and shoulder pain. Using the Tempur-Adapt mattress, I no longer have any back or shoulder pain. I have also found that when lying on back I don't need a pillow. I also have a Tempurpedic Adjustable Base, which I wonder why I never purchased years ago. Just raising the head end only 2 inches, NO MORE SNORING...no longer being woke up in the middle of the night from spouse pushing on me to stop. I purchased a cover for the mattress which impedes the heat transfer that Tempurpedic is known for. That cover disappeared the first night! It's only been a month - but I will let you know in several years if I have the same attitude toward this product. Maybe I will move it to 5 stars...

My husband and I wake up feeling refreshed and awake. I suffer from back and shoulder pain and have not had any since waking up from sleep. It's eliminated snoring with the "Anti snore" option on the base. Great product and great company to work with. Highly recommended!!!!

I wish I had paid more attention to below 4-star reviews. I have had it over 30 days now and it not only has the suggested cover on but also 2 other mattress pads which I didn't skimp on. It does conform to your body when sleeping but rolling over is like crawling out of a hole every time you roll over. Wish I had known there was no way to return this mattress unless purchased thru Tempur-Pedic.

i bought the pillow with the mattress and glad I did. They work together to align my body perfectly. No more knee pain or sinus congestion waking me in the night. Worth every cent! It takes at least a week to "break it in". The mattress is hard the first few nights- I was advised by my sales person to walk on it- yes- stand on it and walk on it! it is essential in getting the mattress to the feel of the same you laid on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased the split king Tempur-adapt medium with adjustable base....I found it was a bit too firm for my liking. Called Tempur-pedic and we swapped out for the ProAdapt split King (paid a bit more but worth it)....I chose the 'soft' for my side, my wife chose the 'medium hybrid' for her side. We both love it and the mattresses are equal thicknesses, which was extremely important being a split king. Customer service was awesome during the whole process. Best mattress we've ever owned!!

I've had my mattress and adjustable base for one year. I have always struggled with the night... Falling asleep, waking at the smallest sounds. I am high strung and I've tried many prescriptions, etc. My routine is turn on the sound machine, ear plugs and in bed by 9pm; up at 4am. I can say I am no longer grouchy when I wake. I'm 38 now and I feel the most rested I've ever felt. I use the Tempur Cloud breeze dual cooling pillow (I have a blown disc in my neck) and I put a regular hard pillow between my knees when I'm side sleeping. This bed is worth every penny and I'm so happy I sleep well these days. My remote the base stopped working. I called- was sent a replacement right away. I don't think anyone would be disappointed going with tempur

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My significant other and I searched thoroughly to find the right mattress. We could not be happier with the outcome. We are sleeping much better now. The only problem we have is the mattress does become extremely firm when cold so one must be mindful of this factor.

We are less than 30 days in and I am waking up with lower back, hip and leg pain worse than my old mattress. I know its the mattress because right before we got this mattress we were on vacation and I had zero pain and slept great on Hilton's mattress. Unless it gets much better, we will probably return it and try to find one that works. It's way too expensive to keep if it's not a game changer in a positive manner.

Got a twin tempur adapt. Store manager said it's good for hot side sleeper but he was so wrong. I'm 5ft 2 in nearly 200 lbs. Not only it's hot like an oven but my hip sag and only a little better if sleep on the back.Use to sleep 7-8 hrs but now 4 hrs.cos of the pain and heat.its been a month and it's still hot hot hot if add a topper it's too high for me to climb cos with base foundation and mattress it's 29 inches high.use a stool to get on the bed but fell down cos step on the stool wrong at night.i dont feel like changing to another mattress cos couldn't afford to waste time to break it cos I'm not young.want to buy a cooling mattress protector but living on pension I couldn't afford it. Even the mattress is financing.if I know tempurpedic is so hot I wouldn't have got it.its winter and I sleep with short sleeve and shorts but the heat radiates where my body touches specially the back. Hate the mattress. Even the pillow that I had been using is hot.is there anything I can do without wasting more money to cool it down
