Great idea

I think we got a bad one. Wouldnt stay at 40, kept going from 41 down to 32. Will get a replacement, but its not on sale now.

It is cool

Ok, a compressor based cooling system in a cooler that can run on AC or DC. That's awesome. And it does work well. Caught it on sale. While I like it, full price is just too much for a cooler / portable refrigerator

Quick cooling

Does a great job cooling and keeping its temp down when unplugged. I wish it had an internal battery, but chills drinks very quickly when plugged it. Also like that it comes with a protective cover. The one I bought from Amazon didn’t have it and Walmart had it for cheaper.

Great Electric Cooler for travel.

Convenient cooler that gets drink/food cold without needing to purchase ice packs any more.

so far so good with one exception.

This is a very solid cooler.I did have water leak out the very first time I used it from the drain. I was about ready to take it back when I realize there’s no O-ring in there. So I put a five cent Vuitton O-ring inside the Screwed it on and no problems. Time will tell if it lasts. But so far so good and I would recommend it for the price

Ready for the road!

Got this on clearance at a club that I happened to be traveling by. When I grasped the concept of an iceless cooler I couldn't pass it up. When I saw that the temperature was selectable down to 0 degrees F, I knew I had to try it. So far I am excited. When I opened it and saw that it even came with a cover I knew I had hit the jackpot. I fired it up and from 75 to 0 was achieved without anything in it in about 30 minutes. I warmed it up to 38 and loaded it with drinks and food and ran it all night long and it is doing great. I have an aux plug in my truck and it will be my riding companion going forward. It doesn't have wheels, but I am used to lugging around a cooler that I would put 40lbs of ice in, so I am good. I bought a utility wagon to move the heavier ice cooler around, so I am already set. We are on a week long trip, so I will put it through it's paces. LETs GO!

It really needs wheels.

The cooler itself is great, the problem lies with portability. The cooler without anything in it already has some weight due to the compressor. Once you put anything in it, it becomes near impossible to transport by one person. This cooler is absolutely missing wheels! With just myself to transport it, it was certainly not convenient to have to empty most of it to move. As much as the cooler costs, I don't want to have to buy something separate to help me transport it. If you don't need to move it once it's been plugged in, you'll be fine! But if you do, a dolly might be helpful. I didn't feel it was too much of a drain on my portable power station or car when it was plugged in and it maintained a good temp. I kept it mostly at 34, keeping items I didn't mind if they got a bit frosty around the edges and I felt it performed well.

Works great!

Not sure what folks are doing that theirs won't keep the ice, but as a test, this baby is sitting outside, in the sun, next to my pool, and the first run kept the ice for three days. Putting it up to a test with another cooler we paid twice as much for that sucked keeping the ice for more than a day. We got the igloo in sale for around $130 and so far we are pleased with it.
