While the convenience of a protein drink like this is nice, the texture can come across as chalky in my opinion. This in turn can impact how I feel about the flavor. Not terrible, but could be better.

I honestly prefer the shakes with 26g of protein because they taste like regular chocolate milk. The additional high protein of this 42g shake makes it taste like protein, but it's still pretty good and really fits the bill for when I need to meet my macros for the day. It's just the right size, too, so I don't feel overly full, just a nice amount after a hard workout at the gym. Apologies I don't have a photo, I always forget to take one when I'm drinking it!

Theyre very good alone or combined into a banana nut smoothie. I love that the elite ones pack more protein and still taste amazing. I will definitely be buying these and recommending to my gym junky friends 🤪

Of the three I received, the 42g Elite chocolate was my least favorite simply because of its consistency. I struggle to drink any liquids that feel too thick - unfortunately, given that the Elite shake is higher in protein, it is much thicker than the 26g Core Power shakes. Even though I couldn't finish the bottle myself, I gave it to my husband who absolutely loved it, and the few sips of it I did have were very good flavor-wise!

I've been buying these core Protein Drinks for several months now. I have to keep plenty On hand because my adult children and grandchildren see them and immediately Ask for some. Chocolate is our favorite flavor. If the strawberry Banana flavor was sold in the 42g we'd buy those too.
