[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually grab a Core Power Protein Shake in chocolate after my workouts, and it's the perfect pick-me-up. The shake is thick and creamy, kind of like a milkshake, and the chocolate flavor is so rich and satisfying. It doesn't have that nasty aftertaste that a lot of protein shakes do, which I love. The best part is how it helps me recover fast. I used to feel all sore and sluggish after tough workouts, but now I bounce back way quicker. I really think the high protein and electrolytes in the shake make a big difference. I'm a fan of Core Power. It's delicious and does a great job of fueling my body and helping with my fitness goals.

The 42g chocolate one was very chocolatey, almost too much so for my taste but besides that it's been wonderful.

I honestly prefer the shakes with 26g of protein because they taste like regular chocolate milk. The additional high protein of this 42g shake makes it taste like protein, but it's still pretty good and really fits the bill for when I need to meet my macros for the day. It's just the right size, too, so I don't feel overly full, just a nice amount after a hard workout at the gym. Apologies I don't have a photo, I always forget to take one when I'm drinking it!

While the convenience of a protein drink like this is nice, the texture can come across as chalky in my opinion. This in turn can impact how I feel about the flavor. Not terrible, but could be better.

It has the consistency and flavor of chocolate milk. It has a bit of that protein aftertaste, but I drank it really cold so that seemed to help.
