I have researched quite a bit about the battery power stations. This won out in the end because I believe you get more bang for your buck with this particular power station (price v wattage v features). Our power goes out frequently because of flooding and hurricanes; I just want to be able to charge my electronic devices. This will do the trick. Plus, Westinghouse is a solid name brand. Pretty much ready to go out of the box (just charge it) and most everything is self-explanatory.

I purchased this in Sept. 2023 and charged it with no problem to get it ready for when I would need it, although I didn't plug anything in at that time. The flashlight worked just fine so I figured it would be good to go and I boxed it back up. Five months later I tried charging it and nothing. Even the flashlight would not turn on. I've since tried continuously to charge, but no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping it's a simple user error because obviously I like it, so I bought it... I bought this last 14 months ago. Was able to use it that summer while camping. Had a power outage and brought it out to use...nothing worked. Plugged it in next day to charge, starts at 1 bar then shows full charge. Flashlight doesn't work, push AC button and fan runs for a second then shuts off and red triangle appears. Definitely not happy with this purchase and don't recommend.

In August 2023 I purchased an iGen300s portable power station that I loved so much that I decided to purchase another one in October 2023. Unfortunately the second one does not hold power after charging and is useless. I have just opened a case number and am hoping this one will be replaced with a working one as the one purchased in August is a 5 star product.

I bought this generator several weeks ago. I have tested it by plugging my camper into it to run the refrigerator and it works great! I had no problems adding the oil during the setup and starting it. I only have experience with one other generator and this one is much quieter. I really love that! My 85-year-old father (who is no stranger to equipment like this) saw the generator running on the driveway and even commented on how quiet it was!) We plan to use this boondocking when the solar panels aren't getting sun and at home when the power goes out during a storm. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Works great on output. But charging is taking a very long time. Specifications says charging 7 to 9 hours. Charging from wallplug took me 20 hours when no power bar are showing. When 4 power bars are showing it is still not fully charged after 5 hours. Will return for replacement. Maybe the 2nd unit will charge as specified.

I have two of these setting on the floor in front of me as I write this review. Both are less than 2 months old one was defective front the get go and the one only just stopped charging last night. Because of the ordering process with in my employer they can't be returned and management as denied any reorders because of so many defensive units.

Bought this last January 15. Charged once, but didn't use. Then brought it out today to check and charge it for an upcoming trip. It's not charging at all. Then the flashlight wouldn't work and the outlets. After a series of plug, unplug to try it to charge, it would charge for about a minute and the battery meter would show that it's fully charged. When trying to use the outlets, there is a red triangle showing on the screen then it would shut off.

Not listed but brand-new Model WGen5300cv Runs for a minute and shuts down. Unit is too heavy to move and Westinghouse will not cover pickup and delivery cost. I am 80 years old on a walker and cannot get down to work on this generator. Lost power in Florida for 4 days with a generator in my garage that won't run. Two more storms projected to hit in a week and Westinghouse will not help. Be aware of this if you are old and have to make a purchase to try and help yourself. Be sure you will not get and help from Westinghouse. I am ashamed I worked for Westinghouse for 14 years.

I bought this unit for hurricane outages. I have not used it for long periods of time yet, but I am impressed with how quickly it charges and all of the ports are exactly what I need. The reason I chose this unit over others were the reviews plus it came with a solar panel connector. I'm very happy with my purchase!
