Good mattress for price but I did not keep

The mattress was good. It's very thick. It did get firmer and firmer with time even past the 48 hours. The edges always stayed kinda squishy like you would roll off them. I don't know if that was a feature of the thick euro top or what. At first the bed was way too plush, but with time, it firmed up and there was a nice layer of cushion on top like I hoped for. Ultimately, I sleep on my stomach. And I slept like a baby always on this mattress. Where this mattress caused me problems was when I spent time on my side, say, working on my laptop. I started to have lower back pain. And I may be wrong but I think part of my lower spine was sinking too low or just not properly supported. In any case, I ended up having to look elsewhere. I think for most people this mattress would be great balance of firm and plush and a great night's sleep.

No, just no

I received this mattress today after getting a FedEx exception notification which usually means something is wrong with the packaging or item. After walking it end over end and struggling to get it onto the bed, I was ready to remove the shrink wrap. I noticed the bed was wrapped in heavy dirt cling wrap instead of the heavy duty shrink wrap that they are usually wrapped in. There was no way to really use the tool that was missing any way so I started unwrapping this burrito from hades. It took over thirty minutes to unroll the cling wrap as you had to lift the mattress to get it to the other side every turn. Once the cling wrap was removed. The mattress sprang out. It was then I noticed the expected heavy duty plastic that was torn and completely opened on one end. So instead of repackaging properly some genius decided to wrap it in Saran Wrap. The way it sprang into an unrolled status almost knocked me over. Once I removed what should have actually been the shrink wrap, I noticed a cut in the cover. The instructions say that it may have a smell like new foam. Of the three beds I have purchased, none smelled like feet. This one does. Maybe the Saran Wrap? I cannot express how angry and disappointed I am and regret this purchase. Funnily enough I was going to have it moved to the guest room after upgrading once I got the desired adjustable base. That upgrade will not be Serta.

Worth writing a Review

I've never written a review for anything , but I felt this mattress deserved one. I've bought new mattresses before and they were just OK. This was my first mattress in a box. I didn't want a 100% foam mattress. I've always had spring ones. So this hybrid was a perfect option and price point for us.(king size) No more back, shoulder and hip discomfort. I'm not old (mid 30's) Just always had a bad mattress. Now I wake up feeling great. So I give this Serta mattress a big thumbs up.

Very misleading

The matress after 2years has had the thread come up and starting to make a hole in the mattress I called sams club and they transferred me to Serta team. Upon thinking I have a 10 year warranty for replacement. It indeed not its only a 10 year refund! The process because it came in “box” it's only allowed refund not replacement. So they will pick up your mattress and leave you with bo mattress. Very misleading when sams club keeps saying I have a 10 year warranty to only give me my money back and just except me to not have a mattress because all of the mattress have gone up in price. I want what was told and keep telling me as a 10 year warranty for replacements not refunds! Please describe better on how mattresses in boxes are not in that category

Noisy Springs

The mattress is very loud.. if you sit on it, it makes a noise so imagine turning over in the middle of the night. I will call later to find out details on returning it. If you don't mind the noise, it's comfy. Not for light sleepers though because of the springs. I'm not sure why the other comments didn't mention the noise. Maybe it is just the one I purchased. Hoping to return. It was in a box so I'm not sure how that works. I will update the review after talking to customer service.

Return policy is a scam, don't buy here

Sam's Club Serta team lied about the trial period and tried to force me to take gift cards instead of a refund. They advertise 120 in home trial from DELIVERY date, now they are telling me it's from purchase date. The site clearly states it begins at deluvery. They lied and not abiding by what's being advertised. Better off buying at BJ'x where they will actually abide by their own policy and treat customers with more respect.
