I bought this as a gift for my dad for Father’s Day and he has absolutely loved it for his long camping trips. I have a fairly larger cooler as I have a large family and recently had a trip with just my husband and I and my dad suggested that we borrow his cooler WOW. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH A COOLERS ABILITY TO KEEP ICE AND KEEP COLD

Took my cooler out for her maiden voyage and the ice lasted longer than I expected. 4 day camping trip with an average daily temperature of 85° and I had a good layer of ice left when I got home and unpacked. I did drain the water everyday, which I think helped with the ice retention. I'm super stoked with this ice chest, great value for the price, well worth the purchase. I wanted to load a picture, but I kept getting an error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this cooler to test on the fourth of July weekend. It was my main cooler for a weekend camping trip in the hot and humid Texas heat. It held mostly meat and a few drinks. It lasted me all day Friday Saturday and Sunday no problem. The ice in the cooler could've easily lasted another 3 days. The build quality is also great on the cooler. I used the cooler as a platform to help set camp, fished from the top of it, and of course used it as a chair and didn't notice any flex on the lid. The kids creates a tight seal and I didn't notice any water leaks. Overall a great cooler and will be using it for years to come.

It is the first cooler that we have found where we can put 1gallon milk jugs side-by-side, leaving the rest of the cooler with plenty of space to put our other food items. The seal on the cooler is incredible and stops almost all of the water from exiting the cooler when it is tipped on its side. The latch system is really easy to use. We've had other coolers in the past with hinges made of plastic that fail over time and we know we won't have that issue with this cooler because the hinge is a metal rod that goes through the lid and the cooler so we don't see how this could fail as our other coolers' hinges have in the past. It also has a wide drain plug for quick draining of water when you're ready to empty out excess water. Lastly, the ice-retention is pretty amazing on this cooler. Ice lasts for days where-as with other coolers we've owned the ice usually lasts 1.5 - 2 days if we're lucky. This is hands down the best cooler that we have ever owned.

Had the cooler over half full of ice, 6 cans and 6 waters. Only kept ice for 3 days. Nowhere near the advertised 6. I bought this cooler because of that statement. Very disappointed. I will say that the cooler is built very well. Its very strong, and the handles and latches are tough. Its just the performance is not as advertised. Maybe if you kept the cooler inside in air conditioning without opening it would it keep for 6 days. But if you have it in a vehicle traveling, you know, doing what coolers are made for; its not going to keep ice very long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is built like a rock doubles as a solid stepping stool (even for a 250 lbs. guy). The cooler fits a 20 lbs. bag of ice and 48 bottles of water with room to spare. I like to store my cooler in the backseat of my truck for easy access during long road trips, while unloading other coolers I would often get drenched in water while tipping coolers to get them out of the back. This is no longer the case with the seal on this cooler! After smoking our thanksgiving turkey, I wrapped it in tin foil and some towels and put it in the cooler. It held the heat so well that after 2 hours I still needed hot pads to touch the turkey.

Received as gift and only used it once and went to use it again and the lock handle broke into.

Have not used this cooler yet but it looks solid and priced well.

I have had the 77Qt cooler for a while and recently got the New 65Qt High Performance Cooler. I use these coolers for my Youtube Chanel and my BBQ business. I recently traveled from San Antonio Texas to Baja California. Before leaving SA I put 2 frozen Briskets and 6 racks of ribs along with two bags of ice in the 77Qt cooler. After 2 days of travel and reaching my destination I opened the cooler and everything was frozen solid! It took 4 days to get the meat out! After cooking my Briskets and pork shoulders To 200 degrees internal I wrap them in towels and put them in the 65Qt and they stay in there for up to 8 hours. After removing them the meats are at a safe temperature of 150 degrees. These coolers are excellent and ice retention and even keeping food warm! Compared to the competitors the prices cannot be beat!
