I purchased my first Brondell Swash 800 in 2004 (still working well, I love it.). I have purchased 4 other Brondell heated toilet seats for friends and I recently Purchased (03/2015) a Brondell Swash 1000 for another bathroom in my home, it is great with additional updated features that makes life much easier, comfortable and sanitary.

I once was lost, but now I'm clean. After arguing with my wife about buying one and I said I would never use it we eventually bought one, and wow... I am truly impressed with this product and completely converted. This seat is awesome and way better than any toilet paper you will ever use or have to clog your sewer pipes with. Feels good, works good and very easy to install. Get one, and save our trees with happy comfy results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works great, but what I think is lacking is a "how to" or "tips for new users". I am a bidet newbie, and I had to google for tips. This led me to info for short users. Before I had this information, I thought the product was flawed.

This is one of the easiest installs you will do (10 minutes max)... if you watch the youtube install video you don't have to read the instructions. This seat has a water heater built in so you do not need to add a hot line. I do recommend you take the old supply tube completely off and reinstall a shorter one if it is not a cable type.

Swash1000 is definitely a great product if it is working. My Swash1000 was working great and no complain for 2 weeks. Then suddenly, the rear cleansing somehow stopped working! you press and no response. Then the next day the font cleansing stopped! What's left? the dry air. I restarted the machine many times and followed the troubleshoot in the user manual. Finally, I was grateful that the store took it back and returned my money. I am very hesitant now to buy Brondell! However, I am not able to find other brands in local stores here in Montreal. For this reason I am considering to give Brondell Swash1000 another chance in case the company stands strong behind their 3 years guaranty. If Brondell is will to return or exchange their defective product within their 3 years waranty, then I might try to buy it again.

I purchased my Swash 1000 Bidet Seat about a month ago after the previous Bidet broke, It was not a Swash...So glad I checked out Swash 1000, has amazing features, does exactly what it says it will do and I installed it myself...I am a 73 year old woman. I actually look forward to those times I need to use it.

I am having shoulder sergery so it is going to be difficult for me to finish going to the bathroom. I was told to purchase a bidet that this would solve my problem. I bought the swash 1000. This took care of my needs and then some. What a great product. I never considered a bidet because of the price and being a man, I felt it was something I really didn't need. Now after owning one I wish I would have bought one long ago. I was concerned about there being enough water presure to throughly clean me back there. I have no complaints with the adiquate water presure doing the job now that I have used the bidet. The key is the adjustible noze, the constant warm water temp. and the wide spray. The swash 1000 meets all those needs. Other reviewers here have noted that the dryer was inadiquate. It works perfactly and does a good job. Adjusting the air temp. is the key to the bidet drying up all of the moisture. I am very pleased with this product. I was looking at a cheaper Brondell model to buy but I am glad I went with the swash 1000 instead because of it's features, they all work very well!!

I have Cerebral Palsy. Got Rifton HTS on October 28th. I Also got Brondell 1000. It took little while figured it out. I chose Brondell 1000 so we could turn seat sensor off. I had 450 swash before. I knew that model wouldn’t work with my new rolling shower chair with opening real commode Rifton HTS. Brondell staff warned me it may splash with gab between. After I showed them the article with Etac chair and Coway Ba13 bidet which Brondell 1000 was built from that. They were right, so we lowered the Rifton HTS chair, I made sure the nozzle stayed back and water pressure low from the remote. It worked out better that. With practice I think bidets like Brondell 1000 can make difference independence for physical disabilities who need toilet chairs for support! We ordered bowl adapter and splash guard were hoping prevent water leaking. Also ordered open rear seat pad, since got no hole seat pad and it hurts to sit hard plastic seat to use bathroom. The Water leaking improved after When I got open rear seat it help align the bottom correctly that water spray aim right spot from Brondell 1000! Accessories bow adapter and splash guard did prevent the water leaking from bidet! Bowl adapter is for if Rifton HTS didn’t match toilet bowl line up correctly especially if you have size large Rifton HTS which I do. I noticed I get more effect with water when raise footrest up slightly. I think my research turned out to be success it can be used with Brondell 1000!

Received this as a gift from my daughter. I am disabled but did not believe this bidet seat would "do the job". I am amazed and so happy with the product. Easy to install, easy to use and making a difference in my "disabled life". Have only had the Swash 1000 for 2 weeks but having no problems or issues to date. Appreciate the fact that it has an power saving mode.

I have used the bidet for past three weeks. My husband was the driving force in its purchase. I was very skeptical. But now I am not. You are just cleaner with the bidet function. The heated seat is a bonus too. I now want to add it to our other bathroom!
