I once was lost, but now I'm clean. After arguing with my wife about buying one and I said I would never use it we eventually bought one, and wow... I am truly impressed with this product and completely converted. This seat is awesome and way better than any toilet paper you will ever use or have to clog your sewer pipes with. Feels good, works good and very easy to install. Get one, and save our trees with happy comfy results.

I did a ton of research on bidet seats before deciding on the Brondell S1000. I considered the Toto S350, the Bio Bidet BB-1000, and the Brondell S1400, but ultimately decided what I wanted were the basics: a bidet that cleans and dries well and is easy to install, without all the bells and whistles such as nightlights, toilet lids that open automatically, and seats that spray the toilet bowl as you approach, and the S1000 fit the bill. I was not thrilled at first, though. I am a fastidious wiper, using wet toilet paper to wipe until I see no brown, so I expected the bidet to do a perfect job. So, imagine my disappointment when, after the drying cycle, I did a check with toilet paper and discovered light-brown spots in the paper. Darn! “I am returning this thing,” I said. After calming down, however, and reading an online review that detailed how you must “relax” to achieve better results, and calling Brondell Customer Service, I decided to change the way I used it. Instead of just sitting there, enjoying the warm spray (I REALLY do!), I rock back and forth ever so slightly, guiding the spray over the whole area, while also using the Move function. And, viola! The TP checks have been coming up clean as a whistle most of the time, so, hopefully, I’ll someday have the confidence to eschew toilet paper altogether. My usage, in fact, has gone down dramatically. I haven’t changed the roll for a month! So, all in all, I am very happy with the S1000, despite the occasional brown/beige water spot. My mornings are much happier, and I actually look forward to the whole pooping experience, start to — ahhhh — finis

When I recently observed shoppers fighting over TP at the grocery store like chickens fight over a worm I decided to finally make the move away from paper. Yes, the China Virus was the motivator that got me moving "butt" glad I did and the Mrs. is happy too! Had it all hooked up in 30 minutes, great design say's this retired aircraft machanic. Wished I had installed it sooner, life would have been better while I was recovering from shoulder surgery, that was a challange.

My mother has had the Swash 1000 for 3 years and loves it. She is in a home now, and we will be installing it in her bathroom there. I work as a respite care giver to elderly clients. One of my clients purchased the same model and it has kept his wife bladder-infection free for a year. The remote is easy to use, and I find that both of these bidets have functioned very well over the years.

I recently purchased the Swash 1000 for my father. He loves it! He has his independance back. He is a veteran, and is planning on sharing his experience with our local VA Hospital. So thank you! My only question is, do you sell a portable seat, that he can travel with?

I just bought my second swash 1000 the first one only lasted five years, which is normal. It's not like a washing machine it has complicated electronic parts inside The newest version of the 1000 doesn't have automatic deodorizer and the heat is a bit uneven, but otherwise I love it

I was like you... reading all the great reviews, wondering if this product was really as good as everyone said it was...I was also suffering from a painful rectal fissure for over 2 years. Needless to say, solving rectal pain and finding a personal hygiene product were at the top of my list.. I was also ready to invest in myself, in my health, as best I could.. In a nutshell - WOW - what a total game changer... awesome product..no question.. I normally don't write reviews, but if my comments might help someone else, then it's worth it to me. Pain control - I bought my Brondell just after recovering from rectal surgery. Being told to sit in a warm sitz bath was demoralizing, impractical and of limited value. Yes, I was desperate when I made my purchase, but once installed, I cannot describe my appreciation for this product. The warmth of the water provided pain relief I had not experienced in years. In addition, and just as important, personal hygiene has now gone from being a total hassle to now being a total breeze. I have never been so satisfied and thankful with an online purchase. Because I was in pain, looking for a product to help me - I didn't care about the lack of an electrical outlet. I just simply ran an extension cord in through the bathroom, till an electrician can install a proper outlet. So, if there is no outlet in your bathroom - don't let that stop you. It didn't stop me. My thought was to install the Brondell ASAP, and get the electrician in due time! This was a totally the wise move for me.. Product quality & instillation - After my purchase, I can agree with an earlier post, that the Swash 1000 was a "godsend" for me. It is obviously well made, easy to install, and easy to use every day. No plumber was necessary, and I am all thumbs for sure! I also agree with those who recommend to use the installation video rather that the instruction manual - the video is much easier to follow. I also agree on getting all the extras, as it makes no sense to wish for them in hindsight.. The remote control is a bit intimidating at first, with all the various buttons, but after a few "Swashes" you get the hang of the settings.. For those who hate remote controls, a separate instructional video might be a good idea some day illustrating the various settings.. Quality of life - I know it may sound corny, and repetitive, but this thing will totally change life for the better, I am telling you.. Having used my Brondell for the past month, I will never, never, never go back!!! This is an investment for life.. Water cleans so much better. It's so much more convenient, and there is nothing quite like a warm seat to greet you! It's like a personal spa treatment, for an "under" appreciated area.. ;) Thanks again for a great product, attention to quality, and making life better!

This product lived up to expectations. Ease of installation coupled with simplicity of use got us off to an excellent start. The seat is comfortable, warm and fit perfectly on the existing toilet bowl. The functions performed by the seat exceed what we desired. I highly recommend this bidet seat.

We knew it was a great piece of equipment by reading reviews but two things surprised us. The first was just how easy it was to install ourselves. The second surprise was how sensually pleasing it is to be cleaned by water than with paper. It may be better for you to be cleaned this way but seldom are the things that are 'better for you' also more enjoyable - but this is!

I bought it because I am very large with short arms and unable to see to my own hygiene.; I wanted to relieve my husband of this terrible job so I bought it hoping it would do the job. Boy, has it ever! I love this thing. It cleans immaculately and I have used it for a very long time. Everything is still operating beautifully. Thank you Brondell for such an instrument to alleviate my embarrasment and my husband's awful ordeal. I am so grateful for this equipment. Medically I wish there was a portable one that I could take with me when I go to the hospital. That would be wonderful and then I would not have to rely on others. That is a market, the hospital trade, that you might want to see about. Thank you again.
