going downhill or bad bad batch

Not sure what happened, but each piece of Pasta had a very small amount of sauce between them. There were some times two pieces or three pieces of pasta stuck together with absolutely no sauce in between them. It was not at all as good as it has been. N

Stauffer Signature Frozen Lasagna

I followed the directions on the pan exactly. The cheese on top of the lasagna burnt to a crisp! I lifted it off the lasagna like a sheet of wood. The edges were burnt where the cheese had melted down the sides. I thought great, two hours of my time and $$ wasted. But, the remaining lasagna was delicious. The noodles were well cooked but still firm. The sauce was rich and meaty and the cheese layer made the whole lasagna creamy. My husband doesn't usually eat leftovers and said he would eat the leftovers for his next meal.

Stouffer’s Signature Lasagna w/Meat & Sauce

Bigger isn’t necessarily better… Six pounds of Lasagna is a lot, & the package claims it’s made with 20% more beef, too. Maybe there is 20% more beef compared to having no beef at all, but we couldn’t taste it. The lasagna lacks that classic ‘Italian’ seasonings flavor; in fact, it has very little flavor at all . We added Italian sausage & additional seasonings to the leftovers in an effort to make it worth eating. We definitely will NOT buy this brand again.

Better than any lasagna I’ve ever made

I have been eating Stouffers lasagna since childhood. The taste is consistent and always good. It has enough meat & sauce to not be dry. There is usually enough cheese, but sometimes we add a little mozzarella. Always a easy family meal when pairee with a caesar salad & garlic bread.

Too saucy

I've had many brands before including this brand. Sadly the sauce is way too much and horrible flavor. Not enough cheese etc. We had 1/4 of it and threw it out as it wasn't worth keeping for left overs. It is 90% sauce and I could make a better one for only $5. Will never buy this one again. Sad wish I never purchased this overpriced lasagna.

Great product, real food, no preservatives

Is this as good as homemade lasagna? Not mine, but I'll bet it's better than a lot of "no offense" Ragu cooks out there. There are no bizarre ingredients, just real food. It's meaty, and has good flavor for. I like to add slices of pepperoni on top for a little extra zing. They probably do have too much starch in the sauce, but overall I enjoy this lasagna and try to grab a couple when it's on sale because it's a super value. It's great for leftovers, too. It's out of stock right now, so I may have missed my chance this year. It goes quick whenon sale.

Great!

I will not eat lasagna because of Ricotta cheese. I hate it! Well my husband stumbled across this and said this one didn't have it in it. Suggested we try it. So we did. Oh my! I LOVE THIS!!! Most of all, my 3 kids loved it. Which is, I may say is a plus! It's a very big portion with lots of meat sauce and tons of cheese! With a household of 5 with hearty appetites, we still had some left over. Probably won't last through the night though ?. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Tastes Like Chef Boyardee Lasagna

I bought this based on the number of five star reviews. It fell far short of fives stars. For me, for this to get five stars it would have to at least taste as good as Olive Garden lasagna. When cut, it looks nothing like the picture on the box, and it tastes like Chef Boyardee canned lasagna. It was okay, and since I didn't have to make it, and if I did it would have cost more than $12, it deserves an average rating of three stars.

Made for Halloween Eve and was REALLY a tricked

We thawed a tray of the Stouffer's Lasagna for dinner on Halloween eve and followed all the directions on the package. To our surprise the meal was inedible. The bottom noodles were overdone, the inside noodles were gummy and the cheese layer on the top was tough after it cooled. The edges we not completely done and crunchy as if the noodles did not cook at all. The indiede noodles were hot and gummy but the bottom was brown as if it burned. The oven is correct temp and was on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 1:10 minutes. We opened the foil cover for the last 10 minutes and then took it out and let it cool before cutting. We were almost unable to cut the bottom noodle layer. We have always bought these for years and this is the worst experience ever on an important night that we counted on Stouffer's to deliver as in the past. We will not be trying this again as it was barely edible and such a waste. Glad we had candy to fill in for the dismal meal. Stouffer's should be ashamed of this product. And why does the 90 oz package have much different instructions than the 96 oz package from Sam's Club. Completely Gross and disappointed.

A hearty favorite

Stouffer's lasagna has been one of my favorites for years. But I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the Signature lasagna and the regular lasagna sold in most grocery stores. I definitely recommend adding an extra layer of cheese on top to avoid getting that occasional bite of nothing but noodle. Always very tasty.
