It might work better if it had more absorbent polymer, or a tighter fit around the leg cuffs, or plastic backing.

I wear a size extra large and these literally just hang. The top is extremely uncomfortable also. It itches something fierce and also doesn't feel secure. I would not recommend these because with them being so loose, I don't see how they can absord anything.
