[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a package of Depend Fresh Protection Bladder Leak Underwear in size medium from Influenster in exchange for my review. I never used this type of product before. I usually use the bladder leak pads when I get stress incontinence, which occurs mostly when I am sick from frequent coughing. The material feels similar to the hospital type maternity underwear given after child birth, it has multiple rows of smocking, and a large, thicker pad built in. The fit is slightly snug, and the pad can feel unbreathable during extremely hot weather. It gets difficult to pull up and down when sweaty. The pad itself has a lot of absorbency, which is ideal as there were many pads I would have to change every hour. The coverage and shape provides security in avoiding leakage from the front, back and sides. The downside would be trying to change the underwear in a public setting. In those cases, a pad would be more beneficial. The upside is less frequent changing of pads since the underwear absorbs more liquid and it feels more secure, as pads still can leak. So while I think it doesn't replace pads, it depends on the situation to use this to fulfill your needs. I would use this alternatively depending on how frequent and heavy leakage occurs.

Very comfortable not bulging feels nice not ruff or scratchy. They feel like they would hold up well. It’s nice to have them for long trips as well. I've tried other brands, but none of them can compare to Depend. Very well made, breathable, and have great odor control. I'm on several medications daily now, and drink lots of water, so Depend is a necessity. They are very quite and are secretly worn under clothes. I've been using them for some time now and still haven't had any problems with leakage. Thank you, makers of Depend. While she says they "do what they do", she does not recommend them for overnight usage. The absorption level she deems as similar to a sanitary napkin, which will need to be changed frequently. She says the fit on them is good but overall, she would opt for another brand.

They’re thin and discreet, but still have plenty of absorbency. They’re also very soft and feel more like fabric and not like a pad. They’re also cute and feminine looking.
