I bought this a month ago and I’m glad I did! I use it for running and sometimes biking, the battery is really good. When I’m doing both (running and biking) it takes four days to charge it again. When I’m only running it takes only a week and two days. I also love coach Garmin, It’s really helpful!

I bought this watch to track my runs & I have found that it works very well. I can see my progress on the watch as I'm running. The features it has tells me everything I would want to know about my run - pace,time,distance,heart rate, cadence. I'm sorry I didn't get this watch sooner.

I bought it about a month ago. Thought I would be wearing it during running/workout sessions only, but it gives so much useful statistics like sleep, stress, body battery, etc. that I never take it off. Only to charge which is about once in 10 days. It’s rather affordable and functional. Great starter watch.

I upgraded from a simple G-Shock to time my workouts, so anything interactive is an improvement. I appreciate the ease of choosing workout options and of course the recording to my phone. I didn't want anything too elaborate and the Forerunner 55 hits the mark: easy to use and not too many options I'd never use. And it's not bulky and heavy like some watches.

I bought this because a lot of people that I run with have Garmin watch, so I thought that I would give them a try. So glad that I did! I have just ran the Turkey Trot, and it was so awesome to see all of my stats just by looking at my wrist. If you’re on the dance about getting one, just commit, you’ll never regret it!

I had an old Forerunner probably 8 years ago, and the 55, while simple compared to the bells and whistles of the fancier watches Garmin offers, is absolutely a dream upgrade. I'm a recreational runner, and this is everything I need and more: pace, VO2 max, steps, heart rate, and even training suggestions. Love it!

I just like to point out that the band keeper has this knob to keep the excess band from flapping. I wish the next product improvement would consider adding 2 knobs to hold the band even more. I have small wrist and the band still flaps. Thank you Garmin.

I had a Forerunner 35 for years. Simple but had a horrible system for the band. The 55 improves the band attachment to something like a regular watch. It does more than the old 35 and is not so complicated that I couldn't get it to tell me the time and date. I haven't used it to track an activity yet but that doesn't look too difficult either.

Super light, I think it's the only watch I've ever been able to wear while sleeping which is fun because it's sleep tracking is neat. I like the simple functions that all work as expected and the coach/suggested workouts are a good upgraded from the forerunner 35. Battery is nuts, lasting a week with 4 hours GPS workouts. Two weeks no problem without workouts and it charges very quickly.

I had been trying to make do with a Fitbit for a while, finally gave up on it to get a Garmin. Should have done this years ago! Never fails to get GPS, big display you can read in sunlight, way more features and suggested runs. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
