A review from an actual purchaser
I bought the the TCL 98" Q6 from Sam's (online) in April 2025. The delivery guys brought the TV straight to my door and I asked them to set it down in my TV room (which they did). After they left, I unboxed it. I had the mount already installed on the wall. My advice to anyone purchasing this TV: be prepared when this thing gets delivered. It's big. The unboxing was simple. Obviously, there is a lot of packaging so you need to be prepared to dispose of it. Once unboxed, my wife was able to help me lift it onto the wall mount (with some difficulty, it's heavy). I'm writing this review in January 2026 so it has been in constant use for 8 months. The TV has been perfect. It really makes an impression when people walk in the room. The room is big (about 20'x30') so it's not overwhelming. It's just right. Excellent purchase.

A great big beautiful TV
First one delivered by 3rd party service (2 guys with no experience in these massive TVs) was DOA...likely when they brought it inside...a disaster. Second one a weqek later eas. 5 minute pro delivery...barely a scrape on the box snd i knew it was going to make it on the wall. Be careful with going cheap on the mounts ... You need 3 people and they will be worth it. Love the picture and the wife does as well. Got it after super bowl and price is up.... I was going to go full quailty for much more than 2x the price and woukd have regretted it. Wife even complained the TV picture was too clear and sharp!!

The agent was very patient and was diligent in helping me to get my tv working properly. She guided me step by step and even acknowledged my frustration at the beginning of the process. I am very grateful for Joy because I would have not been able to do it alone. She was great

Do not buy pice of junk
We have ordered this tv twice now and both have arrived to us broken. I would not recommend anyone to get this tv as if a carrier company can't deliver without it being broken, that means it will break if anyone even touches it. Save your money and buy a different one.

Sams lost a sale
This one star review is more for Sams ridiculous method of hiding the price of items until you sign in! You totally made me not want this TV anymore by hiding the price ON AN EMAIL YOU SENT ME!! I go to sign on to see the price only to have to get a code to sign in even though I'm on the same home network that I pay my SAMS CREDIT CARD BILL! I wait for the code to arrive in my gmail… doesn't show up… not in JUNK MAIL OR SPAM… I request to resend… doesn't show up… I look for feedback… nothing found… then TWO DIFFERENT CODES SHOW UP?!?! Do your MFA CODERS NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT resend versus send a NEW code is?!?! So yeah, fix your method of advertising if you plan on keeping me as an executive Sams and Walmart plus subscriber!

Bad brand DO NOT BUY
We bought our 98" during the Christmas deals in December. Here we are in June and the LED back lights already went out on it. This TV is crap. Bigger isn't always better. Didn't even last 1 year.

Great unit when it worked
I purchased this 98Q671G 98" TV from Sam's in Johnson City Tn. HUGE! Right out of the box I noticed a washed out look on a channel, Changed channel and bingo, Bright and vivid. then a commercial and Washed out again. No rhyme or reason. No external connections and excellent internet signal. Did all the trouble shooting with TCL Rep and was told to Return unit to store. For Refund. When this worked properly it was great! But hauling around a 130# 98" home theater is a Chore. Afraid to purchase another TCL unit. Sam's won't pick Up.

Trash!!!
Trash...all of their TV's. I have 3 in my home and I will never buy this brand again. 2 don't work anymore after less than 2 years. I had warranties on both, but could not get them replaced with the warranty I purchased. Don't waste your money.
