The texture of this similar to hummus, but maybe just a bit thicker. It spreads nicely & is very easy to pack in lunch boxes. I put this in a small container & then add other containers filled with crackers & pretzels. Then i just add sides like fruit & sparkling water. It makes for a delicious, filling lunch that my husband & kids all really like. I have never used it for sandwiches, but I bet that would be really good.

I have a friend who is quite the snob. She turned up her nose when she saw me pulled the container out of the refrigerator. I convinced her to taste it. She now buys it for herself. She serves it on a fancy dish and no one knows that it came out of a container from Sam’s Club. While, the Members Mark Products have failed to impress me and disappoint, I am grateful that this product has not fallen off the shelf in the same way.

Black Diamond Soft Cheddar container, purchase often, great for sauces and dips, although quite a bit pricier, by at least $2.00, than comparable, more favorable item at other wholesale club, although disappointingly they have recently stopped carrying the favored item. Started using the Black Diamond for lack of options which works well, pricing could be better.

I've had ALL of the cedar spreads, Kahuna comes to mind ... Black Diamond is by far THE BEST.
