No matter what the vet recommended, Murka's affectionate nickname is Miss Stinky Poop. You could smell it 3 rooms away! At least she would announce it, so I could don a gas mask to clean up. Fresh Step Extreme has made it much more bearable. Hopefully her new probiotic will help too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats and this litter controls the smell so well; which is important to me since I have the litter box in my office. The low dust is a plus when filling the litter box and the clumping is awesome when I clean it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the brand I have always bought, it has superior clumping and I switched and nether my cat nor me liked it, he showed his dislike by raking most of it into the floor so I dumped all of it in the trash and went and bought the Fresh Step that I had always used except I saw the box with Febreze in it and both my cat and me likes it, it smells great and much less dust, my cat did not rake it into the floor, so I won't be changing again.....

I have used nothing but Fresh Step for 20+ years and have changed to a different variety as the products have evolved and been improved. the scent with this product is not overpowering and truly eliminates the odor from use of the litter box by my two cats. i am a fuss budget though, and do clean it daily (and sometimes more often).

With 4 cats and only 2 extra large litter boxes, this new extreme febreeze litter keeps the smell away for a long time. Even when the littles don't like to cover their business ;) I would prefer a non - scented for less *chemicals* in the litter but overall am happy with this.

This is by far the best litter I have ever tried. It's the only one that clumps really well and truly covers up all odors. The new Febreze scent is really light and nice. Also there is very little dust now with their new formulas. I love this litter and will continue to buy it for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this extreme litter with febreze cause i was away for 4 days and i wanted to come back clean without any smell. Well this litter achieved that. After 4 days with 4 litter boxes full of extreme litter, there was no urine smell and clumped perfect. Each litter box still had room to spare. great product

I have 3 cats and did not notice a difference with the febreeze scented version from the unscented or other iterations. It's the Fresh Step I've come to expect, but it cost more than the other varieties. I'll get it if it doesn't cost extra, but until then, will stick to the original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only litter I will use. I have tried different name brands and they do not come close in the performance. Fresh step lasts so much longer, stays fresher longer and it has immediate odor control. Obvious immediate odors will still exist, but it does "lock it in" quickly and you can not smell it later. The only negative is that it does get tracked by my cats.
