The less dust claim is true! Thank goodness. Even has a lot less dust than Tidy Cats Lightweight litter. Covers odors well without the scent being too strong. Very happy with this litter. Only problem is like every other litter, tracking is still a big issue.

I have tried other litters but came back to Fresh Steps. It does everything it says it does. Clumps well and no more smells. I clean my litter boxes every day and there is never a smell like on the other litters I have tried. Yes it may cost a little more but it does what it says it does.

I've been through soooo many different cat liters because my cats pee was SUPER strong. So I tried the extreme scented one (bc why wouldn't an extreme scented liter ACTUALLY be extreme scented, right?) and I haven't gone back since! This is literally my go-to and I've recommended this to a lot of people because it really does work for those strong odors

I don't even know that our kitten has been in her litter pan! Way to go Fresh Step! The grain of the litter is fine and there is little to no dust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frequent buyer of this product. Have three cats in the house and this product proves to eliminate odors time after time. However, my youngest cat likes to dig to the bottom of her cat box prior to doing her business, and this product fails to ease the effort it takes to scoop up the litter from the bottom when cleaning. Other than that? Great product!

I had stopped buying fresh step because it had too much dust but I was not too happy with the other brands I tried. When I saw there was a new formula with better odor control (which was already good), and with less dust I decided to try it again. I am VERY satisfied with the new formula and I have no complains at all; there is no smell at all around the litter box and I definetely don't see a dust cloud above the litter anymore, in fact it does not have dust.

Long time Fresh Step user in a house with 5 cats. I've always kept 7 boxes going. KUDOS on this NEW FORMULA as really amazing in still remaining the best oder retaining, long lasting product on the market. Fresh Step has allowed me to not dump boxes each scooping. Always maintaining cat and human health! NOW, truly does cut down on the dust! For years, using Fresh Step, no guest can tell there are 5 cats! Thank you for cutting the dust down for less impact on house vents, and less dust breathed in by two or four legged lungs. THANK YOU!

My husband was afraid he would smell the cat box well he was in for a surprise and needless to say so was I. If we didn't keep checking the box we never knew when he went. Great for odor blocking. I recommended my aunt switch her litter and she did and she LOVES IT!!!!! Thanks for a great product!!!

One of our two cats refuses to use this litter because of the strong scent. We originally didn't realize it was the scent that was causing him to go outside of the littler box. We started using puppy pads around the box so he wouldn't go on the floor. After a couple of weeks, we went back to using the unscented or original scented litter, and he started using the litter box again.
