You can smell the Febreeze scent when you add fresh litter, but I didn't notice that it reduced odors any more than the other scented or non-scented.

I also buy this. Its easy for my daughter to use. And it clumps great. It hides the odor and does not track like others

We liked this litter as well, although we did find the scent a little overwhelming. But it worked for our cats, so I am giving it five stars
