We tried the Freshstep extreme because they were out of the regular Fresh Step. We're glad we did and won't be going back to the regular! Extreme works just as good and cuts odors even better than the original.

My elderly cat has an overactive thyroid and so uses the ltterbox frequently. This litter helps control the odor until I get a chance to scoop and replace!

I've been using Fresh Step Extreme with Febreeze for several years with my kitty cat and have no complaints. It clumps together very cleanly and never smells bad. As long as Fresh Step keeps making this product I'll keep buying it.

This took on the litter box of four cats..and beat their stink! It can't account for "bad aim," but I've been really impressed, especially since the frangrance isn't overpowering or cloying.
