The 2 biggest things I look for in a litter are clumping and odor control. This litter is great for both. I have 2 indoor-only cats and the litter box never smells!

My one cat loves this litter... and it covers her unwanted potty odors really well! It clumps fast and that makes it VERY easy to scoop. The big 42-lb bag lasts us over a month, so it is also a great value for the affordable price!

Fresh step works fine for with out the febreeze. I'd rather not pay $2-3 more than same size box without it, but the store didn't have any less expensive regular fresh step that day.

I bought this litter for the first time recently and I love it! It smells great! I have three cats, two boxes and I am going to be using this now because it really locks in the ammonia smell.

I tried Freshstep - Extreme Scented with the power of Febreze for the first time recently. It stood up well to the quality that I always get from the Freshstep products that I buy. It was not heavily scented but did smell pleasant!
