Would have given this no stars if it was a option. Very disappointed....previously used Fresh Step Total Control 90. There are 3 cats in my household now you smell it when they do their business. Apparently they stopped making Total Control 90 because you didn’t need to change litter 1 or 2 times a week it’s all about profit. No l don’t recommend might as well buy the cheap stuff!

Best packaging ever! While the overall 42 lb size is very heavy for me to handle, the pack can be opened and you will find that it is in four separate packages. A ten lb bag is then ok to handle.

Beware, this litter does not behave the same as the related Fabreeze + Gain, no dust! I think it's a close second but doesn’t defy odor as well. The bags are small and barely fill my multi-cat box.

Love this litter.....but was spending more for it in smaller boxes. The larger bag was too much to lift. When I saw the had the different packaging, I was elated! My favorite litter in manageable packaging. Love it!

The new formula does not clump well and leaves a strong ammonia odor. The clumps in my litter robot are all wet and reek of ammonia. This only started happening with the new “improved” box of litter. Clumps are so wet (and smelly) they now stick to the rubber in the litter robot and I have to unstick them during a cycle. It's disgusting.

I have two cats and scoop two boxes every other day, sometimes 3 (my boxes are stainless steel, XL and deep). I used this litter for years before changing to the crystal litter. I don't know why I took so long to switch back. The crystals were very expensive (~24 per bag) and the boxes got SO smelly with a couple weeks. I would dump $40 of litter every 3-4 weeks ($80 a month with two boxes). I would have to deep the boxes clean every time. I'm talking enzyme cleaner or vinegar soap baking soda water solution and let it sit for at least an hour. Fresh Step Extreme works just as well as I remember and I will not be switching it up any time soon. No smells at a much better value.

Hands down the best litter I've ever used in my life. Unfortunately my 2 cats are restricted to 1 litter box due to a tiny apartment. This little makes the daily cleansing efficient and tolerable. You're not having to pick up the clumps that's broken off, which also results in an increase of amonia smell. No. This litter is tight and does a wonderful job will smell in my 600sq ft apartment!!

This litter does NOT clump well! I don't even need to shake the scoop for the clumps to crumble and make a mess! Also, the febreze does not cover any smell. I can smell it immediately when my cats go… will not be purchasing this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this extreme clumping cat litter it makes it so easy to clean it out daily and it clumps up nice and is easy to dispose of and very easy to maintain the litter box daily It also has no odor and the texture of the litter is really good since my cat is very picky with his litter . It’s a great size box amd easy to use and pour in box.
