It wasn't over-powering for them, and just enough scent to help mask odors. People are surprised we have five cats! They don't notice any smell (but the telltale signs of cat toys all over the floor gives my furrballs away)!

I am always self conscious about smell- with this litter-my worries are gone! During the holidays (with company more often) not once was I embarrassed about our litter boxes (as I have been in the past with other brands) I am a lifetime fan!

I love the extreme line through Fresh Step. It's the best litter I've bought for my cat, I have never had an issue with smell since using this. The only slight downfall is I think my cat is a little sensitive to the scent - it is pretty extreme! Would recommend, though.

My friend recommended the Fresh Step Extreme formula and I was very happy with the results. It's easy to scoop and it really keeps the odor in. My house smells great and my kitty is happy, I couldn't ask for more!

This is the cat litter that we buy on a regular basis. We have three cats so finding the right litter is very important and this is a winner. The febreze crystals keep the litter smelling fresh until it is time to change the litter out. It clumps in all the right ways and is easy to scoop. I give this litter a 10 out of 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a cat person, I've got 2 dogs, but my daughter wanted a cat. The only reason I'm not fond of them is because of the litter box. I would go to friends' houses that have cats and the bathroom would just be rancid. I love this litter! My bathroom doesn't stink at all! Of course I scoop it out every other day sometimes every night before bed, but this litter keeps the smell in. Overall, I'm happy with this litter. It's worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product since it came on the market. I have three cats and three litter boxes, but they all insist on using the same one! Does a good job controlling odor until I can clean the box. Also comes in lightweight version.

I have a cat with skin allergies and this liter has been great for her and does not have any skin reactions from too much scented items in the liter like many other brands I have tried. I used to use cat liter deodorizer but this liter has the right amount of scent that is not overpowering. It also masks the smell of a dirty box very well.
