[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always use fresh step clumping litter no matter what. When I noticed this new sku on the shelves, I was excited to give it a whirl. Not only did it absorb and clump beautifully, but there was no discernible odor. Usually, towards the end of the week things get a little 'unfresh', but I almost forgot it was trash day because of this litter. We'll definitely buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 cats and have tried several other brands of litter. Fresh Step is the best for odor control, clumping and cleaning. It seems more expensive until you realize you have to replace the others at a faster rate.

I started using this about a month ago. With 5 indoor cats, the litter box is a FULL TIME Job!! I used to use Tidy cat, Arm and Hammer clump and seal and Scoop Away. Sometimes I would even mix them in every attempt at odor control so I wasn't always having to scoop the litter box out 2-3 times a day. I have so many better things to do with my time. Even after scooping out the litter box, I would still have a less desirable odor hanging around in the house. Then last month I saw the Febreeze label on Fresh Step Cat litter. I decided to pick it up and give it a try. HOLY MOLY! I now only have to scoop my litter box out every 2-3 days. It literally clumps the odor in. The other nice thing is the clumps remain separate from the good litter. When you scoop out the litter box, the litter that remains is good as new as if you had just poured a new box in. I will NEVER use another cat litter again. I literally stand in the pet isle of the store and when other customers come and stare at the litters (like I used to do) in attempts to figure out what they will purchase this week, I tell them, hands down, there is no debate. The price is the same or even more inexpensive especially now that I don't have to purchase all of the powders, deoderant cubes or even the Febreeze plugins in attempts to mask odor. My 5 furbabies are much happier, most of all. Thank you for this amazing product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step is the only cat litter we purchase and have done so for years. We currently have 19 cats, all rescues, in our home. Fresh Step does the job with keeping odors under control. I tried to add photos, but it would not take.

This litter has all of the great clumping abilities as other Fresh Step clumping litters. It was a bit overpowering with fragrance for me though and I bought some unscented Fresh Step to mix with it to tone the fragrance down some. Worked like a charm!

I lived in an rv for about two and a half years, we switched to this litter for our cat, so we didnt have to smell the litter box in such a small place. Clumps so amazingly, doesnt miss a spot. Makes cleaning super duper easy, and never smells even when you scoop! My rats love it too

I was using another higher priced litter when the manager of the Pet Specialty store I've been shopping at for years suggested I try FRESH STEP EXTREME. Not only did it outperform my previous litter it was cheaper. I would never use any other litter! My only suggestion is to make the 42 pound bag more user friendly like the 38 pound size with multiple bags. It's heavy and the quart size plastic container I use to transfer to my litter boxes doesn't fit into the opening.

The odor control is absolutely unreal you cannot smell the litter box and I have embarrassingly forgotten about it because of the lack of odor. My cat had no issue with the texture of the litter ( she will not use lightweight litter). I have already switched from tidy cats and will not go back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works extremely well in terms of odor control and clumping, however the extreme amount of dust the product gives off is overwhelming; almost caustic. I am forced to use a face mask, & not for the usual malodorous reasons. (LOL) And, I am not someone who is overly sensitive, nor do I suffer from asthma or any type of allergies. I can only imagine what my kitties must feel having to dig and paw through it. So unfortunately, while this was my first purchase... it will also be my last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter for several years and it's always been good. The Febreze added definitely helps wth odors. I have two cats so the litter box is a high traffic area, heh. I buy the 42 lb size and I can easily get several weeks out of it.
