I normally don't buy scented litter (due to asthma) but my store was out of the unscented I usually buy so I gave this a shot. I was worried about the scent and it wasn't super strong which I like. Fresh Step always has great odor control and clumps well.

I have been using fresh step for 11 years and they keep coming out with better products. And every time I try to buy a different brand because it's on sale, i am never as satisfied as I am with fresh step. I have two cats and one box and this is always my litter of choice.

Anyone who visits my house is totally shocked to find out I have cats. They all say they have been to other houses and can smell the litter box. Not in my house!

We are going to stick with Fresh Step because it works the best. The Febreze just helps us even more. I now live in a smaller apartment and you can't tell that I even have a little box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago. for my first kitten and he loves it at first he would just sit in his litter just relax. silly cat. the litter is heavy but last a whole month. he never smelled bad after going to the bathroom. the little also collects great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Febreze has a nice scent but I think most cats prefer unscented litter especially the ones with allergy issues. Once the cat steps out of the litter box, the Febreze is all over the house-sofa, bed, chair, carpet etc. Unless you don't mind the scent otherwise it is quite overwhelming.

I have 3 cats and 5 litter boxes and I've been using Fresh Step litter for almost 9 years now. Usually, when pouring a brand new bag of Fresh Step litter into a litter box, a huge cloud of dust will puff up all around and the strong scent of the litter would be overwhelming. I would have to hold my breath while pouring the litter to try and help reduce how much dust I breath in! I've used Fresh Step all of these years because it clumps very well and hides/absorbs odors very well so the high dust content was something that I always just tolerated. Dust would always find its way all around the room where the litter boxes were located. I was SO excited to see this lower dust formula and I thought to myself, "Wow, finally a company that has listened to it's users!" (But come on guys, why did it take so long??) There is absolutely no cloud of dust when pouring out the lower dust formula and the Febreeze scent is not overwhelming. It seems to offer the same clumping power as the original formula so there is no con to this product for me (other than it costing a few more dollars). I will now only be using this lower dust formula since I hope it will also reduce the amount of dust in the rooms where I keep the litter boxes and I love that I don't have to hold my breath while pouring the litter into the box.

I have 2 litter boxes and no one even knows they are there ever! My cats love this litter and the few times I have run out and been forced to use another brand it begins to smell bad within 3 days. We (cats and humans) will not settle for anything less than this litter. I do have one little cat that has allergies to the dust from some litter and this is the only one that he has used that does not cause him to be miserable from the dust. Take our word for it, it is 4 thumbs up for Fresh Step.

My cat used the litter that evening and and to my surprise there was no urine odor. It clumped quickly and left very little dust. My cat likes it and so do I. I will be purchasing more in the future.

I usually bounce between multiple kinds of Fresh Step litter, and I will be adding this to my rotation! Not only does it smell great and keep smelling great, but it has the quality that I have come to expect from Fresh Step. I can use this litter in the litter box, and you won't even be able to tell where it is! This litter has become one of my favorites.
