There has only ever been a couple litters I have felt were good and this brand is one of them. Most litters are very generic and basic. Fresh Step is dependable and does the job each and every time. No litter box odors, great clumping power. Always on our shopping list.

I have tried so many others in the past and the smells really gross me out. Fresh Step has kept our house from smelling like a Zoo. The Extreme Scented smells fresh and is not over powering. I have two cats and a small three bedroom home on a slab so if that litter box smells even a bit so does the whole house. Thank you Fresh Step in helping me keep my house smelling clean and for the easy cleanup you provide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I STARTED USING FRESH STEP WITH FEBREEZE ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO BECAUSE I LOVE THE FRESH LINEN SCENT OF FEBREEZE AIR FRESHENER. I HAVE 4 INSIDE CATS AND THREE LITTER BOXES. WHEN PEOPLE COME TO MY HOUSE THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW I HAVE A CAT LET ALONE 4 CATS. I HAVE NO CAT ODOR! I LOVE THE CLUMPING POWER BECAUSE AFTER EVERY CLEANING, IM ONLY GETTING RID OF THE "USED" CAT LITTLER AND I'M NOT WASTING "UNUSED" LITTER LIKE I USED TO WITH THE NON-CLUMPING LITTER. THE SMELL IS FRESH AND CLEAN AND NOT A COVER-UP SMELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FRESH STEP WITH FEBREEZE FOR ALL CAT OWNER! TO ME....THIS IS EXTREME CLEAN!

it clumps very well but sometimes it maintains some moister from the cat's urine and then sticks to the bottom of the litterbox also definitely holds back the smell of the urine and number 2 which having 6 cats is wonderful for a liter to do that well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this litter after trying a few other brands, to help with the odor control beteeen box scoops, and I was amazed how well it works. Our daughter moved home with her two cats, so you can imagine what a litter box must smell like with three cats. No problem. Fresh Step Extreme Scented with Odor Control has been tops and I’m happy smto say, that our pets like it.

I like febreze & I love fresh step, I wasn't sure I would like the two together but they work very well. It's important my guests see my cats but not smell my cats. I think this litter works very well. I have 2 cats and one is a digger, fresh step doesn't track all over the house.

I will not use any other product. I have three kitties in my home and the quality of my cat litter is extremely important. I have used Fresh Step for many years and Fresh Step Extreme with Febreze is even better. This litter out performs any other product on the market. You will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used all the flavors of Fresh Step, and the newer Febreeze types work ok, but don't seem to have as good a fragrance as the regular Extreme, and it costs a little more. I myself wouldn't purchase it over the other types of Fresh Step scoopable litter.

I recently switched brands of litter due to a kitty not using the litter box all of the time. Both of my cats took to this litter right away and I find that the odor control is very good. I have 3 boxes for 2 cats and clean them daily. By doing this, I can wait 4 weeks before completely cleaning out the box and putting in new litter.
