Years ago, I tried a few different brands names of litter, and jeez!! They wouldn't use it! It's only yours, and will always be yours! Happy kitties=happy Mommy!!!

I bought the Extreme litter with Febreze for the first time last month. We like how it controls odor. Plus, it has incredible clumping power, particularly since our cat loves to go in the same spot in her box. Both my husband and I work, so we can't always scoop immediately after she uses her litter box. The fact that she can go in the same place in her box throughout the day and the clumps stay is amazing.

When my Petsmart actually carries this brand, I always lean towards this one and the Hawaiian scent. They both smell like air fresheners and not somewhere your cat poops! Also, I love that it always clumps so easily and I never have to worry about my kittens walking in their own urine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 cats and the boxes can get pretty stinky in a day. This litter does a great job fighting odor. I love that it's low dust bearing and I especially love the fact that Fresh Step makes products with our precious cats health in mind.

This used to be my go to litter, but I don NOT like the new febreze scent that was added. I wish there would be an option with or without. Other than that, I love the extreme litter. It controls the odors of 4 cats and clumps tight for easy scooping!

The power of this litter is instant and I feel it lasts longer than 10 days. I have been buying Fresh Step for many years and this particular scent is my staple in cat litter

just refilled our litter boxes this morning with the new formula and wasn't gagging on the plume of litter dust I have become accustom to!! DEFINITELY going to keep buying this litter solely based on that. I did also really like the febreze freshness, well see how it does after a weekend of two boys using the boxes!

We love Fresh Step, so when I saw the Febreze version, I bought a big bag thinking it was a good idea. It did smell pretty... The next morning the box was half empty and the litter was scattered all over my kitchen floor. My cats are very clean and had never exhibited this behavior before. I cleaned the mess and refilled the box with more Febreze litter. My 4 year old cat proceeded to try to empty it again later that day. The cats had grown up using Fresh Step, so I thought it must be the scent. I purchased some "unscented" Fresh Step and changed out the box. The behavior stopped. I guess you can't teach an old cat new tricks either!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to clean the litter very frequently and with this fresh step it makes the clean up process very easy. The smell isn't bad, it clumps so it's easy to scoop, and my cat doesn't make a big mess with it!

Go this a month ago when we got a new kitty and were keeping the new kitty quarantined from our elderly cat until she passed her vet certification. We had the litter box in my daughers room and were keeping the door shut. I was very worried about the odor and remarkably there was no odor in her room. Baby kitty took to it easily. The only con is it is the smaller pieces (as is all clumping) so it is a bit messy. Our older cat uses the crystals so there is never and scatter or tracking.
