Im a huge fan of Fresh Step. It took me forever to switch over from my previous brand in the yellow pail. Once I did I was hooked! Convinced family to do the same...we are all hooked! The only problem is the 'Extreme' line. It is so incredibly dusty that it emits clouds of dust when you disturb it...i.e. clean the litter. Even if you go really slow and low it still is makes a dust cloud. It leaves dust everywhere! I have their litter box in the bathroom, (Its a Rubbermaid large tote, lid on and hold cut in side). This litter emits so much dust it leaves a dust layer on everything...the counter top, tub, towel bar...everywhere! I even have an air filter going in there, it helps a little, but still there is dust everywhere. I am not the only one to notice this issue, my mom was complaining about the same thing. It looks like you haven't dusted your home in months.

I have been using this product for over a year now and really love it, but with my two cats i notice i must add ALOT to the litter box to keep the urine from sticking to the bottom or sides, which i really dislike. The plus is that i can go a little over a week if i scoop every day.

We have two cats who use the litter box regularly and one that uses it sometimes. The littler box is in the corner of our living room, and we never have any trouble with it stinking, even when we forget to scoop it for a while. The febreeze does help a lot, because we used it before the febreeze was put in and it didn't control odors as well. The cats love it. It does track pretty badly, but we have tile.

I was nervous about trying a new type of Fresh Step, ( I use the regular non-clumping kind). However, my cat did not seem to mind. I do feel like the extreme scented blend masked odors for longer however I would like to try an even stronger kind. Overall, I would try it again

The new Fresh Step formulation is not as good as the old. Also, the amount of dust varies from box to box. The Paw Points concept is nice but point input can be a nightmare. Usually, I need to contact Customer Service for assistance due to IT problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat has diabetes and therefore uses her litter box a lot. This is the only product that is able to clump well enough. It keeps odor to a minimum and now that the dust has been reduced, it is a lot better when pouring it into the litter box.

Less dust when you pour it and when you shovel the poop out. the only thing i don't care for is how sticky and hard it is to scrape off the bottom of the liter box. I have 3 cats and i clean the liter box everyday but the liter gets stuck to the bottom of the pan and its hard to clean.

They are always surprised when I tell them I have a cat, because they say they usually smell them before they see them. They need to tell them to try Fresh Step Extreme!

This is the best litter that is on the market. I have four cats & I used to have to keep the litter boxes in my bedroom. Gross. So I tried alot of different litters to control the odor. When finally found this I was very impressed. I could never smell the litter box at the end of my bed! Since then I have never been willing to use anything else.

I have purchased extreme Fresh Step for years, but, this new lower dust with Febreeze is fantastic for my 3 cat household. Never a litterbox odor, less dusting in the litterbox room, and, Fresh Step clumping cat litter never loses it's clumping action. I even got my sister to switch!
