I bought this 2 months ago because the normal litter I buy was out of stock. The scent worked very well and was pleadant. I feel this formula claiming "low dust" is much more dusty than the multi cat with febreze. Will continue to buy multi-cat with febreze.

Of all the litters I've tried, even within the Fresh Step family, Extreme seems to work the best for our 3 cat household -- and I can't say we scoop every day. Sometimes it's up to three days (multiple boxes, teens who don't do their chores). I'm okay with the febreeze addition. My husband loved it. Only problem, the scent didn't last as long, and I don't think the odor control is as good as it was. Still wouldn't switch to another brand, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I must admit, we haven't tried every litter in the world, yet! Timeframe: We've been using this litter for just over a month. Pros: + Very absorbent. I think it is more absorbent than the clay litter. Every dribble forms it's own little clump. + Very soft. I don't know if "silky" is the right term, but that's the word that comes to mind. + Cats took to it immediately, not that they didn't take to other litters, also. I just thought I'd mention it.

I bought this due to it having Debrecen in it. I use Febreze to make the house smell good so I thought I would try this. I live in a very small apartment so the old litter was causing my apartment to smell like litter box. With Fresh step with Febreze there is not smell except when she goes number two and it is only for a second or two. We have inspections once a month and the manager said she could not believe that I had a cat! Said other tenants Had cats and she smelled the litter box as soon as she walked in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to clean the litter very frequently and with this fresh step it makes the clean up process very easy. The smell isn't bad, it clumps so it's easy to scoop, and my cat doesn't make a big mess with it!

The less dust claim is true! Thank goodness. Even has a lot less dust than Tidy Cats Lightweight litter. Covers odors well without the scent being too strong. Very happy with this litter. Only problem is like every other litter, tracking is still a big issue.

If your cat is having difficulty using the litter box, simply place it next to your oven in the kitchen. Only true cat people will understand what that means. It is extremely nice to have a litter that effectively absorbs the aroma and lasts a very long time. It's the type of litter that if you forget or are unable to clean it out for a day or 2, it does not smell bad at all.

This is the only litter I buy. The litter box is in my bathroom and this is the only litter that eliminates urine/feces smell and doesn't make my room reek of scented cat litter. Smells like a normal bathroom and not like a bathroom with a litter box.
