We went to a local pet shop that opened up and they sold the Extreme litter, not the Fresh Step variety we usually get at the big box store but decided to give it a try. We've 4 litter boxes but only 2 cats (one of them is like an open faucet). This litter works well in the automatic boxes and the manual ones. The odor is really minimized. Great stuff. Will buy again with confidence!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If it's possible to love a cat litter, than this is my new love! The scent is nice and clean, not overly "perfumey." I don't notice any dust at all-no more sneezing and coughing for me! The clumping is perfect-everything really holds together-nice and clean also means I don't have to to a complete box change as often. Am so happy with this litter!

I recently switched brands of litter due to a kitty not using the litter box all of the time. Both of my cats took to this litter right away and I find that the odor control is very good. I have 3 boxes for 2 cats and clean them daily. By doing this, I can wait 4 weeks before completely cleaning out the box and putting in new litter.

It seems that I have tried every single clumping litter out there and all of them seem to fall apart when you scoop them. My best friend told me that this is the only litter she will use for that very reason. I gave it a try and now I am hooked! No other is good enough for my bundle of fur! Best litter I have tried in over 20 years!

I have a single cat household, but as his litter box is in my second closet in my room it's EXTREMELY important to me that it doesn't smell. I clean every couple days and I can't every smell a thing! I’d always used the regular Febreze scented FreshStep litter, but decided to try the Extreme Scented Febreze FreshStep because my local store was out of the regular. My cat wouldn’t enter or use the litter box. For the first time since I’ve owned her she soiled the floor NEXT TO the litter box instead of inside of it. Once I was able to change the litter back to the regular Febreze scented she once again used the litter box with no problem. Just writing this to maybe let owners with older, finicky cats that maybe the extreme scent isn’t the best choice. My cat's prefer Fresh Step brand litter over any other brand on the market,we have 7 cats and 3 litter boxes and I have tried most all litters out there.I will only buy Fresh Step!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the smell of this product was good and seemed to last but if you didnt scoop a few times a day the litter would stick to the box and make it hard to scoop up and the cat couldnt use it or scratch it so youd have to throw the whole thing away, i learned that from this product.

I have tried several different cat litters over the years of being a cat owner and Fresh Step is by far the best at controlling odor!!! I was worried that the cat might not like the fragrance, but it hasn't made any difference to her at all! Thanks for a great product!
