No more huge cloud of dust billowing up as I pour the granules into their box. I have 7 cats, so clean litter, multiple boxes is a given in my home. The new formula continues the great odor fighting qualities - now with minimal dust! Thank you!

We are going to stick with Fresh Step because it works the best. The Febreze just helps us even more. I now live in a smaller apartment and you can't tell that I even have a little box. This is the best litter I have found. It is less dusty than their previous formulation, which is a great improvement. However, I think they have sacrificed a little of the clumping capability to reduce the dustiness. It does not clump quite as well as it used to.

I tried about 5 different kinds of litter (crystal and clumping) and this is the strongest absorbent of the bad smells. I have 2 kittens and I use the Fresh Step with a self cleaning covered litter box and that seemed to keep the air in my house fresh. An added benefit of the Febreeze agent is that it actually smells good when I am changing the litter instead of smelling what's truly inside of the litter box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works extremely well in terms of odor control and clumping, however the extreme amount of dust the product gives off is overwhelming; almost caustic. I am forced to use a face mask, & not for the usual malodorous reasons. (LOL) And, I am not someone who is overly sensitive, nor do I suffer from asthma or any type of allergies. I can only imagine what my kitties must feel having to dig and paw through it. So unfortunately, while this was my first purchase... it will also be my last.

It was the only one that my cat felt good about using after trying clay based litter and even newspaper at one point. This litter smells nice and it does a really terrific job at keeping the clumps together for easier cleaning. You can't go wrong with sand litter. Love this Fresh Step Extreme brand it's my forever go-to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats, and this liter works great. I was worried about the smell of a cat box, especially with two. I tried other liters, and found this one is the best odor eliminator. You wouldn't even know I had cats.

I have been using Fresh Step Extreme for a few years now! I love it. I only have one cat and it keeps odor in check (unless she has just used the box) AND it actually clumps and doesn't get that horrible smell you get with some other litters after only being used for about a week! We love it. I'm never switching to another litter. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it is still a bit dusty even though it now states it's "low dust formula".

I love this litter. I have tried them all and this is GREAT. I had the cat box in my office and oh boy it got stinky. So, I decided to try every brand and keep a record of the results. Well, Fresh Step won my little experiment. This is the only litter I use anymore.
