But once the novelty wore off, he checked out the actual box and was surprised to see himself on the front, probably wondering why he was slumming with the likes of me! As soon as I changed his litter box, he ran and jumped into it ready to defile. The feel of the litter didn’t phase him and clumped well. I didn’t smell a thing, which is a plus. After apologizing for skimping all these years, Elliott confessed to not knowing the difference in both his station or his litter, but I would definitely purchase this litter in the future!

When I tried out Fresh Step extreme clump, I was surprised how much easier it made cleaning and maintaining a litter box. The clumps were quite large, but held together well. That kept the box clean and minimized messes. The scent was mild, but kept odors away very well. It really eliminated the litter box smells that I despised. This product really delivers.

Because handing money over in exchange for a box of clay for my cats to poop on just doesn’t sit right with me :) but, they need it! This is not my usual brand when it comes to litter, but while I’m happy with my current litter - I’ve been considering changing brands because I know that there are much cheaper options out there. While “cheaper” would be ideal, I don’t want a cheaper quality or anything that my babies aren’t happy with. They’ve been using this litter for a few days now, and so far they don’t seem to mind the change. They’ve been using the box with this litter in it as they usually do, with no hesitation. And while I’m not using it myself, I do notice some differences. My usual litter consists of very small rounded bits of clay, and this litter is more like shards of clay. It doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable to them, but I would think that the small round bits would feel better on their paws. With these larger pieces, it does seem like there’s less tracking which I like. My usual litter ends up EVERYWHERE. This Fresh Step litter is pretty good for the most part, but there’s just one thing that I just really dislike about it - and it’s the scent. This particular box of litter is “Febreeze” scented, and I don’t know why but it just smells awful. Again, it doesn’t *seem* to bother my cats BUT they couldn’t really tell me if it did. So for that alone, I’m not going to use this specific litter in the future but maybe the unscented version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my review. For this Fresh Step Extreme Clump Cat Litter. With a Frebreze scent. This is a really good high quality cat litter. When opening the box. It has a really good Frebreze scent to it. I like the texture of this cat litter. The pieces are the right size. It clumps nicely. Making it easier to clean the litter box. I like that it doesn't leave a lot of dust. I like that it leaves a nice scent to the room. The litter lasts a long time. The litter is kinda heavy. It was easy to store. I definitely will buy this again.

It clumps almost immediately after my cat urinates which makes it easier to scoop. There isn’t a lot of dust in the air after putting the litter in the box which is a plus. The scent is nice too because it help to cover the the bad smell. The price isn’t terrible but a bit more expensive than most brands. I would recommend.

It does seem to clump the cat litter more tightly together without falling apart when scooped compared to other brands I’ve tried. That makes it a standout product! I hate when I am scooping litter and it breaks apart. It also has febreze in it to help keep the smell down!

With two cats using the box daily, I need something that can truly handle odor and mess, and this litter never disappoints. The clumping is strong and immediate, which makes scooping quick and easy without everything crumbling apart. Odor control is excellent—it keeps my home smelling clean even between full litter changes. There’s minimal dust and only a little tracking, which is totally manageable compared to how well it performs overall. I’ve tried enough litters in the past to know what works, and this is the one I consistently trust to keep both my cats and my home happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this cat litter. It controls odor for 15 days, it forms tight clumps which allows me scoop it easily, has less dust then other brands I've tried and has a nice scent. The box is enough for a 30 day supply too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this is not enough litter for an adult litter box. You'd need 1.5 of these containers to fill a litter box properly. Mine came in a cardboard box with a handle, which is much sturdier than a bag and easier to pour. I don't normally buy scented cat litter, since some cats are very sensitive to fragrances. Thankfully, my cat didn't seem to mind the scent and used his litter box like normal. The scent is okay, but a little overpowering. The litter clumps urine moisture pretty well, likely due to the finer grain, so disposal is easy. However, this litter creates a TON of dust when you pour it into the litter box and when you scoop out poop and pee clumps. I'm talking plumes of dust. Not ideal for people with asthma (like myself) or other breathing problems.
