Its Ok

i cant say there's anything that i love about this tv. i was used to the roku tcl that we had, and the ease of choosing an app or live tv. with this one, the remote doesnt let you click fast through anything, and if you try to, it skips way ahead. the tv turns on by itself almost every night which is incredibly annoying to have to go into the app and turn it off again. some of the apps make you use the phone app to stream to the tv when n the tcl that was never an issue.

Oooo: I'm sorry to hear your experience with Samsung's TU7000 TV has fallen short of your expectations. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Samsung Scrap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is junk, from the defectively-designed remote to the malfunctioning software. The remote is semi-round with a very smooth texture, making it difficult to grasp securely. It is dropped constantly as a result. The buttons on it are too small and too close together, resulting in the wrong button being pushed (often the Exit button); which leads to a wholly different set of issues. Most bewildering is why the remote buttons do not light up when the remote is held. Use of the remote in little to no light is especially frustrating. The buttons are difficult enough to find without compounding the problem due to lack of a common feature found in the vast majority of competitors' TV remotes. Finally, the software often malfunctions. If it is not defaulting to Samsung TV despite selection of a streaming (or other) service, it is not loading the viewer's choice of programming. As a result, the viewer is forced either to turn off the TV and upon restart re-select the viewing choice and hope for the best (often multiple restarts without success); or to unplug the TV from the electrical outlet then start from scratch once the TV is on. The frequency of both scenarios is so high that the TV will soon be replaced.

Excellent!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for gaming and TV regular use like watching movies and sports. The image is great and easy to adapt to any use. The smart hub is very convenient, I can watch many streaming services directly on the TV without additional hardware. This is very useful and saves time. This TV also recognizes my PS4 and switches the image to gaming mode automatically.

Awesome picture - vivid colors

We have had our 50" TU7000 Smart 4K UHD TV for about 5 weeks now - wasn't really looking for a new TV but the one it is replacing decided it was time. As I thought the old TV had good picture and colors - this one really shows me what we have been missing - the other great things are access to the internet etc and it turns on so fast in comparison.

Perfect!

Don't buy

everytime i turn on my tv it says network error. for awhile i would unplug my tv and let it reconnect. now i hold down the power button 3 secs for it to reconnect. thats the only way it will come on without getting a network setting error. not happy with samsung at all.

Great Color!

Not as smart as I'd like

i hate my new samsung tv. it is supposed to be a smart tv. it comes with a bunch of junk apps that samsung prevents me from removing. also when i try to move the apps that i most use on to the front page of the menu it can't be done because of all the clutter. i want a menu that allows me to customize not accept a bunch of junk apps and clutter

Super clear and beautiful colors
