Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 43" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN43TU700DFXZA forTerrible smart tv
for a smart tv it is pretty dumb. the apps are tiny on the overall screen and the “trending now” or “popular” content within the app is bigger than the actual app. additionally, the free movies, or sponsored movies are thrown at you but it is difficult to even be able to see what app your cursor is on, even on a 58 inch screen tv. ridiculous.

Great picture, Great sound!
i finally moved out of the stone ages, and bought my first smart tv! so far i am loving it, all my services in one location! no more hunting for the remote, only to find it and realize it's not the one you need. my only complaint is that sometimes it won't turn on, at all. the only thing that fixes it, is to unplug it for about 10 seconds. what's up with that, samsung?
Best TV I've ever bought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new tv and all the features that it has! Was extremely impressed by all of the available apps that are on the Tv. I have my TV linked to everything and it's a the perfect TV for my game system. I can't wait to play the ps5 on this TV in a few months! I would of bought two but the price is kind of steep. We just moved into a new house so that's the main reason this TV was bought. I just need a sound system then my media area will be complete in the basement.
TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV for several months now and so far I am very pleased. The picture is very crisp and clear especially in 4K format. I also find that the menu is very extensive for this price point. The Tizen operating system is very smooth running with no complaints. I'm not that crazy about the remote though. I constantly push the wrong button cause of the button layout. I think Samsung should rethink the remote for this particular model. If the remote was better regarding button layout this probably would have got a better rating.
Great 43" TV!!!!
I have had this tv for a little over two weeks, and I love it! I was watching on a 24" screen and it really left a lot to be desired. The picture is perfect, and the sound is adequate. With an additional antenna I can watch all the local channels and it was very easy to add Netflix, Hulu, Disney, PBS, and a few others. I set it up by myself, I am 60 and 5'3" tall. I laid the tv on the bed to put the legs on, which were very easy to snap in, no tools needed!. I took it to the living room, hooked everything up an plugged it in. I have been enjoying every minute of my tv watching time. I can read the captions now without my glasses. Thank you Samsung for a great product!
A Nice TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV to use along with my Samsung smart Phone. The quality of the overall picture is very good. The smart features work well. Setup was easy. The only problem I have noticed is flickering of the image at random times. It goes away after a little while, but makes the video difficult to watch.
Best tv ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is so crystal clear especially when I'm gaming I love this tv graphics with my gaming graphics … I use my tv to stream and play fortnite best experience always never gone stray from Samsung ever.
Great Experience and it works w/Alexa & Harmony
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy this TV for daily OTA shows and news. Mostly I watch streaming HULU+ programing and blockbuster movies.. It's linked to my Yamaha soundbar for better audio with deeper bass. It would be very helpful if a basic web browser (Puffin) was included. Samsung phone casting is a snap. Very nice television. Forget the rest and buy the best ...SAMSUNG!
Great smart tv for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is great for watching tv, movies and games. Love the picture quality and price. It also has great built in features and wifi great for streaming movies. Picture quality is great in game mode.
Overall it's fine for an inexpensive TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't bought a new TV in several years, and I went with a top brand, but a discounted price. In retrospect... I might have made a different choice. But overall - it's fine. It's a decent enough TV . The 2 main issues I have with it are: It's dark. Like really dark. Watching any dark/night scenes and I can't make out many details. I've turned the brightness WAY up and turn all the lights off in the room shut all the blinds etc, and it's still difficult to make out what's happening. So I mostly watch shows with dark/action scenes in the evenings, because in the daytime I might as well be looking at a black screen with some audio. The other thing is small, and odd. It turns itself on. Not all the time, but often enough that it's annoying. I'll turn it off at the end of the day - go into the next room and hear it come on. It's baffling!
Hi Sher71, Thank you for your purchase and your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you and have a few troubleshooting tips that may resolve your issues. First, if the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. I recommend using Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection. Now, if your TV is turning itself on, there are a few steps that I would like you to go through to ensure they are not the cause. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with the Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Finally, if you are using the device through HDMI, it could cause the auto-on, as Anynet+ is enabled. Occasionally connected devices such as game consoles (PS5, Xbox) or cable set-top boxes send a turn-on signal, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on. Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+, then disable.
