The Best Television I've Ever Had...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a few other "smart" TVs prior to this one, and I would consider those to be "dumb" TVs! The clarity and picture on this TV is amazing. Whether you are watching cable, streaming, or even using connected devices, this has been the best experience I have had by far. I do lots of streaming, such as Youtube, Prime, and Netflix, and have had the greatest experience with them all. I also stay on the internet constantly, and being able to do this from my television is unlike anything I have tried. There's nothing like being able to see the content you watch and do on a big screen like this. Using the browser on the TV became more favorable than using my computer or even my phone. I also love how if you don't have a sound system, you can use a Bluetooth connected speaker, and the sound is amazing (and wireless!) I also love the fact you can upload your pictures and video gallery, and feel like you are watching home movies on a what feels like a theater, all from videos and pictures taken on a smartphone. Having a Samsung smartphone makes the experience so lovely, because everything connects seamlessly, as well as giving you TV and phone extra features when using them together. Not that I would think there would be any issues with any other smartphone being connected, it is just awesome to use a Samsung smartphone with a Samsung TV, because the usability of the TV is even easier to get use to, since it has the same platform, setup, and settings similarities.

Smart TVs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying I love my tv, I just hate that it works kind of slow. Always signing me out of apps, the volume goes up & down too fast and sometimes have to press the in button multiple times before it actually comes on.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update. Hulu Live sucks on it

i am only giving this tv 3 starts because hulu is our mail cable provider and when watching it live the sound and picture get out of sync and i can't seem to get it fixed. i don't like search feature for apps and you don't have the variety as a streaming stick. i'm actually considering buying another inexpensive one so that i don't have to use the apps. i don't like how small the buttons are and where they are located for using the apps. the picture is nice and the price is right. we put our old samsung in the living room and got this one for the family room. i think our other samsung is at least 6 years old or more and i've not had one problem with it. not even a pixel is out. if it wasn't for the video problem with hulu live, and the apps, i would give this tv 4-5 stars.

Please check your network connection. When the network speed is slow, the app may not work, or its image quality may be poor. Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like my Samsung TV in picture quality. I also like my Samsung TV has all the streaming applications. I have both LG and Samsung TVs. LG TV has a pointer/cursor function so that I can point specific position on the screen and start applications, instead of using up/down/left/right buttons. Samsung TV does not have that function, which I'd like very much to see Samsung TV also have.

This tv has an amazing picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my husband for Christmas and He/we absolutely love this tv. The picture is vivid and crystal clear. We have a surround sound hooked up to the optical and the sound is amazing. It is a smart tv and we had no trouble at all in connecting it to our WiFi and it actually works better on WiFi than the smart tv we have connected in the same room as our modem and router. I debated a while on which one I wanted to get for him as we have always gotten A different brand tv, but I am so glad we got this Samsung tv, it was a great choice. The only thing I don't like about it is that you cannot control the volume with the tv remote if you have sound hooked through the optical input which really ain't that big of a deal since the surround has its own remote.

Great TV and very affordable.

And the 4K image is excellent. The Samsung tv has great content for the whole family. I recommend this TV to anyone looking for affordability without sacrificing quality.

Samsung 42 inch TV

Purchased this TV about 5 years ago. We moved to the country and we boxed it up with bubbles wrap and I went to the best buy store to get a TV box. They didn't have any in stock so they gave me a 50 inch box, which was perfect because we stuffed blankets into it for extra padding. We moved and unpacked the TV and everything works great. Then...we got another dog. It's a Shepherd Collie and Husky mix. Lots of energy. So it was garbage day and my wife and I were both outside when we hear our other dog barking and barking inside the house. We had the TV on and playing dog TV on Utube thinking it would calm them down. We can back inside and the TV was still playing but was facedown on the concrete floor. We both said OMG . It's our only TV as we are downsizing and we sold our other 2 Samsungs. We picked it up and put it back on the table and I swear to you.... not a scratch. It fell 3 feet. I turned it off and waited then turned it on and no problem. Fantastic product. We are so happy with it.

Bluetooth Included

the tu7000 is a great, feature rich tv. i bought this tv because it includes bluetooth. my hearing impairment requires that i use a headset while watching tv. the tu7000 allows the tv speakers and the bluetooth device to work simultaneously. also, the set will automatically connect with the headset if the headset is powered on before you power on the tv . . . nice!

Quality going down

the fell of this tv just screams cheap. the plactic legs are ubly and the remote is a step down from 2019. i only use it for streaming so so far so good. not impressed compared to my 2018 55”. in fact the qled models have have also suffered i. quality. the q70 had more festures than this year. i guess this is a case of the bottom line being more important than the product
