Considering a Second Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K is the first Smart TV I've ever owned. With health challenges, I primarily use it for entertainment purposes and to keep abreast of what's happening in the world. Overall, the TV itself has excellent picture and sound quality with sufficient customizable features in settings that meet my general needs. It also boasts a user-friendly remote, a clearly delineated guide and Samsung TV Plus which, although not extensive, offers free TV streaming of 100+ channels and an array of newscasts in conjunction with vintage and contemporary TV shows, documentaries, sports, movies, etc.. The TV also provides a centralized Hub and supports a number of platforms that can be downloaded via respective apps or directly accessed through SamsungTvPlus.com. Thus far, I've not encountered any problems with the Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K and am considering purchasing another.

Love our Samsung. For the price a great buy.

we looked at several different brands. this tv goes into an rv so we disnt want to spend a lot of money but we wanted a smart tv. i actually took a lg back because the setup was hard and it kept losing rhe wifi signal even though our hotspot was inches from the tv. we found the samsung setup easily, it didnt loose the wifi sgbal and it has a awesone picture.

In love with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it as a present for my birthday and could not be more happy. I was living on-campus without a TV for months so I made good use of this. Setting it up was easy, I liked how it could be done through an app. Adding my apps was really smooth as well and the quality is amazing.

Great for Casual Viewing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I love this TV. It's great for gaming, we have an xbox and nintendo switch and love using them both on this TV. My younger children are able to navigate to their favorite streaming services very easily, so I particularly enjoy the user-friendliness of it as well.

Price was right for TV. Some areas of concern are the picture was not bright. I was unable to brighten the screen as it seemed that I was watching the movie in darkness. The biggest problem for me was the lack of outlets in the back to hook up hearing sids, separate sound systems, Dvd player, vcr player, game outlets, and cd player all at one time.

If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. I recommend using Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. I also recommend looking into adapters that will allow for more HDMI or USB ports if you need to utilize more ports than the TU7000 TV offers. Crystal clear picture.

bought this tv because i have a samsung phone that i totally love. love the looks of the set & the picture couldn't be clearer. the sound is much better than our previous tv. however, we are having a problem with it periodically disconnecting us from hulu or even from dish network for no apparent reason. not happy about that.

Sandy: I am sorry for the issue you are having with Hulu. This is not common, but Samsung is aware of the problem and is working closely with Hulu towards a solution. In the meantime, please try power-cycling your TV: 1) Power off your TV using the remote or by pressing the power button on the TV. 2) Next, unplug your TV from the power source. If your TV is connected to a surge protector, power it off. 3) Wait 30 seconds, and then plug your TV back in. 4) Power on the TV using the remote or the power button. Single button for control is a slap in the face

I've owned this TV for around a year, and it has been decent. I had to have the unit repaired as it randomly turned off since I got it while in use, the screen would fade to black and sound would cease for moments up to several seconds. The picture also was locked out of 10 point color settings like the review units had, and only allowed me to use 2 point settings to correct the jarring redness. My biggest complaint is the fact that it has one button. Any manufacturer using a single button has nothing but contempt for their consumers, and it certainly reminds me that Samsung views me buying this cheap TV as a peasant not deserving of a simple joystick (an AMAZING navigation feature on my S series Samsung monitor I've had for years and years with only a single dead pixel.) or *gasp* 4-5 buttons on the actual tv. Had to facilitate the repair of a 65 inch version as well, so I'd give it at least 3 stars, as they did have a great warranty, which is why I still recommend this TV over other brands, as Samsung will at least make it right for sure.

Love TV Hate remote

tv does what we want and has a good picture, but the "home" button and the "enter" button on remote are too close together--in fact all the buttons are too close together, and not intuitive at all. if i am watching in a darkened room, i have to flick a flashlight app to make sure i don't punch the wrong buttons. so far good tv, sucky remote!

Perfect size and picture quality.

We purchased this unit four weeks ago and my wife and I are very pleased with the size and quality of the picture. My wife did not want a huge screen becoming the major focus of this 15 x 20 ft room and this turned out to be the perfect size. Set-up was very super easy and we were watching the unit before the box was out the door. I would definitely recommend this product.

Another good choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2 or 3rd Samsung TV, so it was easy to select. This TV picture is very clear and the color is very vivid. I am very pleased with my selection. I attached a soundbar to it and now I am truly drawn into the movies I watch.
