Picture is great. Motion blur definitely not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the picture on my Crystal HD TV. When I watch sports however, the ESPN bottom line is blurry for a small portion of the message. Not too great. Overall, if you don't watch sports, this TV should work well. TP

Great Features

Second time

first tv started going off and on within a couple of days. had to return and ordered another to give it one more try. the second one i've had for a little over a week and so far it's been perfect. love everything about it except the samsung app. very intrusive and cannot remove. other than that i'll just have to wait and see how this one holds up. i'm a little worried after reading some of the reviews and the problems that started within months of setting them up and too late to return. i have a few more weeks so if any kind of problem occurs i will definitely return and get another brand. i've owned samsung products throughout the years and all have been exceptional products, even my last tv.

Great picture, poor connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this tv, at first. The picture is great for the price. But, after a while, it started losing connection to my wifi network. The tv would work, technically, but I would lose all "smart" functions. It would go weeks at a time, refusing to connect to my network; then, I'll turn it on, and it just happens to connect. It's very frustrating, because I really do like this tv.

Kranberie: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Ver 1401.7 is now available. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. This product has great features.

This is my first Smart TV, so I have really enjoyed the features that come with it, such as accessibility to streaming apps as well as the ability to control it with the Smart Things app. I am very glad I went with Samsung for the TV, because I know that it will last me a long time.

Perfect for me!

Even better is the free Samsung streaming service. This free streaming service offers a variety of program options. I highly recommend Samsung products!

Awful picture quality

this replaced a 2009 plasma which went in another room. the picture on that is far better than this in every way. this image is dim. a little better after disabling all eco settings but the colors remain bad. nothing is bright except people's faces which are washed out. blacks are never really black. did several factoryresets and updated firmware but nothing is any better. the old plasma tv is so much better. every tv in local stores looks fantastic but they don't have this exact size which i need for the space. i have a service request in to samsung but the earliest they can help me will be after the time i can return this

Quality purchase

It is super easy to download any additional apps you'd like too. The picture color and clarity is still amazing and when it comes to gaming it just as perfect. The sound quality is also quality and I definitely plan on purchasing another one for my bedroom.

Great Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has great picture. The HDMI jack drops the sound to my sound bar often. It isn't the cord or the soundbar as I changed both out, it is definitely a faulty jack. Besides that it works really well.

Not what was expected from reviews

this tv met my requirement to keep clarity and color when sitting off center. unfortunately, that is where it ends. the sound and video go out of sync for no reason. i am not using a sound bar but rather the tv speakers. this tv also has horrible sound where no matter what you do, the sound rises and falls on the same channel or different channels or different sources. i have done everything possible to get this to stop and it won't. just sitting watching something and it could switch to a commercial and bam, the sound gets loud. i changed and reset the sound settings until i'm blue in the face and nothing has fixed this. don't buy this tv. i am sorry i did.
