Great Picture! But Tizen OS is Not for Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this primarily for streaming. The picture is great, I love it! But, I can't stand the Tizen UI. I get what they are trying to accomplish - to give a cable box kind of feel to the experience. I used one of the first Apple TVs, then moved to Roku. I only want a list of apps when I turn on the tv -- I don't want other stuff to be on the screen - i.e, No tv shows in the background from Samsung's free streaming service when I turn on the TV. And many of the preinstalled apps on Tizen you can't delete. So, you end up having apps you don't use, and you can't hide them - you can only lock them. At least the above is as far as I have been able to get with the UI until I gave up. In summary, I love the picture, it's sometimes a little too life-like! But for a streaming platform, the OS leaves much to be desired if you have preferences like me. I still rely on my Roku.

It's great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used for just regular viewing and streaming. Been very happy with the picture, color is vibrant. Most of the use comes early in the morning while my husband is working OR when our grandchildren are here, then it's on most of the day. Easy to get up and running. We currently have 3 Samsung tvs that range from 32 inch to 65 inch and we are very happy with them all.

Great video, OK sounds and remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the infusion purchase, I was amazed at the picture quality of the TU7000. My wife and I actually thought many shows looked as if you were right there filming with the actors. We did, however, have some concerns about the sound quality, so we added a soundbar, which made a significant improvement. Months later, we're still amazed at the picture quality and are happy enough with the sound but the Exit button on the remote doesn't work any more and you have to hit the Return button multiple times to exit an app.

Screen good, functionality embarrassing

i've had this tv for a year now. when it's working, it is a very enjoyable experience as far as the visual quality, but the functionality is just downright terrible. i bought the soundbar that goes with the monito and it has gone from working with the hdmi to only working through bluetooth to switching between the two to not connecting until i manually do it etc etc etc. often the tv will turn on very dim and only reset to brighter if you turn it off and turn on again. it will also have trouble recognizing devices that you frequently plug into it. the lag time for the menu screens is also extremely frustrating.

Cassidy: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. You may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature to address audio delay. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. Great TV

I love the Netflix and Amazon buttons on the remote. Also is comes with Samsung tv which has a wide variety of channels. The set up was easy too

Wonderful!!!!

i have only had it a couple hours but everything installs so well and the picture and sound are wonderful. the system links to so many other devices. all of it works flawlessly and i am an older man doing all this alone. so easy!!! i do wish there were a couple more hdmi links but i can work around that.

pleased with the tv, 75 is a big step up from the 55. color settings dynamic, standard, movie etc. take some time to determine a favorite. the smart option provides fairly easy transition to prime, netflix, etc. the controller is a bit slow but i am adapting. an excellent viewing experience at a reasonable price.

Great TV for a surprise price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly was not expecting much for a 70" inch tv at this price point, but wow was I wrong. The picture and sound clarity is rated above what I imagined it would be. I am coming from a 65" inch LG at a much higher price point. You honestly can not tell which is the more expensive tv from just looking at the screen.Would highly recommend this t.v. to anybody and get ready to be genuinely surprised.
