Bringing theatre home

Great Quality and Great Reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Electronics have always shown a consistent pattern in their guality and reliability. For this particular Tv, despite not being one of their newer releases, it has provided an amazing quality in Image and Sound. I cannot demand anything more. The overall the physical and technological structure of this TU7000 series is splendid.

Good TV for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the Television is very good and I like the remote and the Samsung TV remote on my iPhone that I can use. Additionally, it has built-in Chromecast and Airplay that allows me to utilize my iPhone to the fullest features.

crappy software

I've had this tv for a moth now, picture is great for a inexpensive tv, But only 2 hdmi inputs is not great. Also I have spent hours upon hours with tech support trying to update the firmware, this tv is on version 2111, there are 2 later updates but this tv will not update. I'm thinking of returning it and spending abit more for a sony.

Hi shad, I'm sorry that you have not had a great experience with your TU700D TV. Please know we are here to help. If you have not already done so, I recommend trying to update your TV via USB. 1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model. 2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.) 3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV. 4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. If you continue to have issues, please give us another call so we can better assist you. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Great Quality for Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Samsung 82 inch TV for watching college sports and Live PD. Great HD quality and we get rave reviews from all our family and friends. One thing that we struggle with is only two HDMI inputs which makes it difficult for us. The biggest struggle is keeping our sound bar connected without having to okay the connection each time.

Picture is good compared to 10 year old Vizio.

sound is biggest issue. hard to hear almost constantly unless volume is set at very, very high level. i did chat earlier and the reply was to reset everything and try again. not a good solution and it seems sound is an issue for other tv's made by this manufacturer.

Some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. We recommend you try a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test. Another way to check the source volume is to test an internal streaming source like Netflix or YouTube to compare. You may also want to select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences. Perfectly Planned Obsolescence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV on Nov 27, 2020. Ironically by the time I was sent this survey May 23, 2022 the TV has stopped working. A repair man is being sent out to look at it, quoting a new main board and panel maybe needed to fix. Which may cost more than I originally paid for the TV. I give this TV 1 star for only lasting 18mo just after the warranty. Perfectly planned obsolescence. Other then feeling like I was scammed the TV was great up until then.

Fantastic Picture

I am not too crazy about the jutter reduction feature since it feels like watching the movie on fast forward. But even that when set right still makes it look even better than my old TV. All in all I love the picture and the features this TV has given me.

Works great, easy to set up, works with Apple TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well with my Apple TV. I was able to set it up quickly and my Samsung profile has all my settings from the prior TV. Very quick set up, no brainer. The Apple TV set up just worked. I now only use the Apple TV remote to interact with the TV. Sometimes I only use my phone.
