Best tv ever bought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best tv I've ever bought After buying Samsung for the first time I'm a customer for life the company really thinks of everything the only thing I wish they would improve is more apps for the smart tv and more storage for the apps and the option to take off unwanted apps for storage but other than that excellent tv

Beautiful picture! Love the UHD!

I bought this tv thinking that it would be way too big for my small apartment. Unless it was spectacular I was going to return it. Well after watching Ted Lasso with UHD, I just had to keep it! This tv has such a beautiful picture, the colors are so rich! Sound could be better, but I hooked it up to a pair of old speakers and may invest in a Bose Sound Bar! Because, I am keeping this tv! Such a great product!

My Last Samsung Television

loved this tv for the first few months when it worked. first it stopped responding to commands via the remote. after a factory reset it worked briefly. took it in for a warranty repair that took two weeks. got it back two weeks ago, and now i can no longer connect to my home network even after doing multiple network resets. had this device for 9 months... not worth the headache. i'm out.

A picture you can live in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is just in my office, but the picture and sound quality is better than the big tv we have in the family room. The extra TV features work easily and seamlessly. I buy all Samsung products: TV, Tablet, Phone so they can all connect and share with each other easily for just watching to office presentations.

Awesome TV but finicky remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly do love this TV. I came from an older vizeo and I followed my dad's footsteps and got a Samsung. I absolutely do not regret picking this model at all. It has incredible sound and picture. I thought about buying a sound bar but this TV does enough as it is and that's super impressive. One downside is my remote. If you press a button once it will trigger it as pressing it twice and that can be annoying at times.

Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a roku tv because I didn't like the remote worked separate from the cable tv remote. the picture quality is great and the ability to use my mobile phone as a remote was a feature that I liked, the only thing I'm not crazy about is the remote should have a backlight because I can't see the buttons at night.

Mostly happy but was hoping for more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is beautiful in design and putting it together was super simple. Setup was mostly super easy: I was able to use my phone to handle most of the setup including connecting to wifi - waaay easier than using a remote. I was pleasantly surprised to find 145 free channels of programming; most aren't worth watching but it's nice to have live news and weather readily available. I really was hoping for more with the operating system. It seems to reasons fairly slowly. I'm able to tell Alexa to turn off the TV but can't turn it on the same way. Getting to my video apps requires me to hit the home button then click 2 or 3 more times just to get to the menu, where it makes a lot more sense that it should just be one click to get there on a smart TV. I do like the quick buttons on the remote to get to Netflix and Prime Video. In true Samsung fashion, there are a bunch of apps I won't ever use and can't remove. It's difficult to figure out how to customize the app order and add them to my home screen. I also hoped for more with the Smart Things Samsung app on my phone but it doesn't do much beyond volume and channel control and turning the power on and off. Overall I'm content with my purchase and got a great value for the price. But I'm left feeling that the software is all just kind of clunky and doesn't really work all that well together.

Tv is good but HDR...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is really good. Colors, brightness, resolutions works really good. 4K upscaling is works like a charm. Sounds are pretty good too. e-Arc supports so if you connect an external speakers for Dolby Atmos, you are good with this tv. The only issue is when it's playing HDR contents. Brighter images are brighter and punchy but darker image are too dark and brightness in HDR reduces overall.

Hi Dharun, Thank you for your review of the Samsung TU7000 TV and feedback on the HDR mode being too dark. Please know are here to help you! If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can manually select Minimum Brightness to adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV: Settings > Support > Software Update. I hope this helps to improve your picture. Should you need further assistance, please contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Lasted 1 1/2 years.

The TV picture is fine. It has enough inputs. The home screen is a bit messy and you can't remove certain channel icons to clean it up. The remote, I feel, has way to many very seldom used buttons. Those issues are subjective issues. What is not is the TV after 1 1/2 years is now randomly rebooting. I've updated & factory reset with the issue still present. So, I bought a larger TCL. WAY happier.

Hi Just me, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. The TV will likely need service if the issue persists after these steps. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week.
