[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My one cat has severe allergies and this litter seems help decrease his scratching/chewing/licking after litter box use. The only con is that the litter is heavy for cleaning up and my cat has difficulty covering his #1 and #2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Unscented is the preferred product in our household. Cats have sensitive noses; scents can be painful for them. Further, scents cause me migraines and can be painful for those with multiple chemical sensitivity. This litter doesn't irritate any of us! Odor control seems great; I clean the litter boxes frequently though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a cat who is 18 and becoming increasing finicky with cat litter. This by far suits him the best. Any additives like Febreze just complicate a delicate balance in elderly pets. It's hard to find in all stores and usually come in a smaller box with less paw points which is disappointing but for my elderly boy this cat litter is the best.

I have been using this product for years. The product is now different and unfortunately, my cats now hate it. It would have been nice if the label had indicated that the formula changed. It looks like wet cement. After discovering that my cats hated it, I ended up using the litter to fill up some half empty paint cans. It’s very disappointing. Not only has the price of this sky rocketed, it is now so inferior to what it used to be. Don’t the manufacturers of this product know their audience? Cats are so finicky and particular. Maybe humans can be fooled, but the users of the product will not be.

After adopting 2 cats, I was searching for a clumping litter that wouldn’t track all over the house and also mask odor. This litter has no perfume smell but is able to cover completely keep our bathroom odor free with every other day scooping and once weekly changing the litter.

So much for unscented

I really like the 10 pound bags which make it easy to pour in the box. then I use the empty bags when I clean the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the unscented litter. I scoop at least twice a day. If you clean your litter pan often you don’t need scents to cover up scents. LoL it clumps great too.

Ultra UNSCENTED is NOT unscented . It is lightly scented. I can smell the perfume scent when pouring the litter. This is totally misleading. I expect UNSCENTED to be UNSCENTED with NO perfumes!
