[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 3 qty of the 20 lbs boxes of this unscented fresh step. We thought it would be horrible situation because it being unscented. We was wrong the product did not smell! We sound found out after 4 cats used the box each day we was wrong! It actually works just as good as the Free breeze style litter.

WHEN I SAW THIS I THOUGHT, "OH, BROTHER!"... BUT WHEN I USED IT I SAID, "I DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT REALLY IS UNSCENTED AND WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING I'VE EVER USED!"

I am a new cat owner (after an absence of 28 years!), and I am thrilled with this litter. So easy to neaten up every morning and evening, and keeps odors at a true minimum. I am a bit of a neat freak, and this litter works meets my standards and only needs to be changed twice a week.

I've been using this for a couple years now and couldn't be happier. It absorbs odor quickly and clumps like advertised. And did I mention the low dust? That was my main issue with the former "low dust" litter I used...it wasn't. It's a heavy litter too and that keeps my girl from tracking it all over, it drops off her paws and hair before she goes very far. We use the unscented version, the cat prefers it and so do I.

I was happy when I found Freshstep- Ultra Unscented Litter, because I like Freshstep litter but I don't like scented litter. I feel that cats prefer unscented litter as do I. I also like Freshstep Unscented Litter because it clumps well, and I love that it is low dust.

I have a new kitten and have been trying different litters. When I tried the scented litters and noticed my kitten sneezed a lot. Switching to unscented litter made all the difference. However they are not the same. This product has been the best. I even got my sister to switch brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a coupon from PINCHme to try Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Litter, and I was really impressed. I tend to prefer scented litter, but I decided to try this Ultra Unscented based on positive reviews I read. I wasn't sure how well it would control odors since it is unscented, but it did a great job at covering up the smell of urine and feces. It isn't quite dust-free, but I would say it is low dust. It also clumped well.

I like this unscented litter as one of my cat's gets an irritated bottom with "scented" varieties of litter, plus not dusty when pouring into litter box. I don't think that any cat litter should have perfumes or like additives so I would recommend Fresh Step Simply Unscented.

I have 7 cats. I run 5 litter boxes. . A competitor that I was using changed (and increased) the scent in their litter. My house reeked. Fresh Step was the first unscented litter I have tried., It truly is unscented - even when you don't clean the litter boxes as often as you should. For this, I am extremely pleased. . However, Fresh Step does turn into cement, bonds to plastic litter boxes, and forms really LARGE clumps when one clump comes in contact with another. As above, if you don't clean the litter boxes as often as you should, it can be a real struggle to scrape it from the box, and lift humongous clumps out. I recently bought a heavy metal scoop, which helps immensely, but you still need 2 hands to use it to work the clumps free. So if you are weighing "unscented" against "cement", the unscented wins hands down. I will gladly struggle with the cleaning in exchange for a clean smelling house.
