Great microwave! Great power and nice size!

The microwave fits nicely on my Pantry’s counter. It works fine. It is a bit loud though. We decided that we can live with the noise for the 1 minute for warming the food.

Perfect countertop microwave. We bought it for our temporary kitchen while we renovate our kitchen. It performs just like our over the stove microwave. We’re really happy with it.

I was helped making the purchase by one of the employees keeping stock on inventory and saved me a lot of time not having to wait in line and was able to save me more time not having to wait in line too.

Replaces similar GE 900 Watt Turntable Microwave that finally stopped working. This is normal for microwaves. They have a life expectancy. Pro: Quieter, more efficient. At full power prepares a frozen singles meal in 6 minutes. Old one was 8 minutes. Makes a bowl of hot water similarly faster. More performance than just a 5-1/2% increase in wattage can account for. A chef friend says this will be due to a more efficient design. Con: The panel is now dark on dark. I like my house with subdued lighting including the kitchen. Takes a small flashlight to read the panel. I took a doubled up octagon shaped piece of typical blue painters tape and put it on the “6” button that I use most frequently. I can make it out in dim light and sense it by touch. Miss my well lit quick to read panel on the old unit, also. miss the louder finished signal. This one is barely audible from the adjoining room. Maybe a plus for some people but not me. Conclusion: I can adapt to the negatives all I care about is performance. The unit has some weight to it but if you are in shape at all it’s no problem. The door spring is more powerful and door is more closely fitted. Guiding the door closed with hand on top nipped my finger tips couple of times. Quickly learned the bottom of the door has a lip easily avoiding this. Different product, different techniques. Be sure to remove all the plastic wrap. It’s on there like a skin graft. Takes few minutes to peel it off. It’s so thin and transparent I missed the top and sides at first until I realized why no fan air felt was because the vents were still covered. There is more plastic shipping protection than the plastic bag. I was happy with the price for being a GE product. I avoid brands that have given trouble in their products lines for me in the past. Bad patterns repeat. Good patterns repeat. Last unit was good one expect same for this one.

We purchased this microwave because our old microwave was starting to play out and the watts we wanted to be more. We are happy with this microwave so far it heats up our food evenly and it was the right size for our area. The cord has a flat end on it so you can put the unit closer to the wall if need be and not damage the cord at the plug. GE is a good brand and has been around many years. Hopefully this product will last us many years to come.

Great microwave. I like the minute quick start feature. Hit 2 for 2 min, and hit start. Great value in today's economy. Just remember to remove all the stickers and protective plastic outside of the microwave and 1 sticker inside (circle part where the plate sits).

My very old simple outdated microwave finally needed to be replaced so I purchased this available unit at my local Sams. Easy to purchase, I did curbside pickup :-). I like the size of it but was a little thrown off with the lock/unlock feature and had to try it multiple times before I could disable this feature. The interior is a good size, I use it mostly to warm up items so this will come in handy. The only thing that needs IMPROVEMENT is adding a backlight to the buttons on the control panels. Its white lettering (small) on black. Even with a light it's fairly hard to see. Other than that, decent for the price. **GE, PLEASE PUT A BACKLIGHT ON THE CONTROL PANEL!

$99.98? How this can be manufactured, packaged, shipped, stocked, and everything else that goes into selling a product of such high quality is so amazing to me. Looks great, works great, and will probably last long past expectations like my last one. Well done, GE - and Sam's.

Good size. Easy to use. Previous microwave was Samsung. Will need to get used to the new controls.
